And, on the fringe, I just upgraded my system to a 3840x1024 triple monitor setup. Try finding wallpapers for that! What would be useful is if the wallpaper section on this site offered (forced?) the ability to allow uploaders to indicate available sizes, and offered the ability to downloaders to filter on size. I don't understand how any wallpaper site (this one, DeviantArt, etc...) can not provide this seemingly necessary and incredibly useful feature...

No other posts from Stardock? Usually, you guys are pretty responsive...
Nice to see I'm not alone. I am on WinXP64. This last version caused the exact same problem as Greglaw and Nuxx. The desktop has nothing on it. When logging in as administrator afterwards and uninstalling WB, I can log back in my usual profile. If I re-install, the same issue surfaces. I also use Ultramon and it fails to "set systray icon" like Nuxx. I guess WB is locking up something and Ultramon can't get its thing done. I use a local profile and classic domain style logon, as p
Milksama: Problem continues with WB5. I've tried reinstalling with rebooting after your account fix and still no joy. I guess I'll have to wait for a new version of WB5. Presumably, I am afflicted the issue you mysteriously refer to. BTW, WB4 works fine everytime. - alphadog
Biglee1: Tried your suggestion, to no avail. Uninstalled, rebooted, deleted WB folder, installed WB5, rebooted and still get the same end result. Bizarre.
Much appreciated, Mike, but I don't think activation or my Stardock account was an issue. My Troubleshooting window has always stated "appears to be activated". As it is WB5 still doesn't work after whatever you did. Hitting "Apply Changes" has absolutely no visible effect, as if I didn't click at all. (Well, if in Classic mode. If in Windows XP mode it flashes a lot and ends up in Classic mode.) - alphadog
Replied in xgman's thread. Summary: still no WB5.
Tried the whole reboot/reinstall circus one last time, thinking I might have missed something like TheDruid47's idea, but no go. Upon uninstall, I even had it override all skins and such. Still no functional WB5. Won't apply a skin at all.
The newest beta of WB doesn't seem to want to display skins for me. Any skin selected results in the classic skin only. If I uninstall the newest, and install the older stable 4.60, it works fine. Config: Asus K8N-DL, dual Opterons 246s, WinXP64 (all patched up), 2GB RAM. WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ WindowBlinds is not installed correctly on this PC. If you did not reboot after installing W
Kobrano: I do understand what Multiplicity does. You're haughtiness doesn't help the product though. Multiplicity is basically a combination of K(no-V)M and some remote desktop features into a somewhat unique product. The K and the M are, in fact, shared, contrary to your protests. If you have one peripheral that can influence multiple machines, you are sharing that peripheral. At any rate, I read Frogboy other article and find
Not sure how big a market there is for this. How many people need to share mouse and keyboard but not monitors? Unless I am mistaken, it's a software version of a KVM. When you think of one person running multiple systems, it looks like Multiplicity is about sharing K and M. However, what most people want is to share the V, since it is the most expensive of the three. Especially when you escalate to four- or eight-way setups. What I <
