Thanks for keeping it civil yourself, Arthur. Way too often on message boards tempers tend to flare up and boil over about totally solvable issues. So this post has some value, I'll add my own little advice- I tend to heavily specialize in a couple of "Forge Worlds" which I lavish will all of the best improvements, especially the starship ones. I also concentrate production increasing stuff therein. My other planets tend to get low level research bonuses, inexpensive morale adjusters, a

Luck gave me Rangers. Lots of Rangers. It did not, however, get me Chameleon. Frankly? I feel hosed. ;p Mark
You know those guitars that are like, double guitars?
I am still not certain how this works, exactly. Has anyone used this as a major strategy yet? Enemy planets never seem to defect even when I am pumping enormous amounts of money into their tiny economies.....it seems to drag down the amount of money they have available to spend, but is that all that it does? I'm confused. I long to use it like Brad described in one of his AARs, destabilizing and empire and causing its planets to join me or a league of non aligned worlds. Am I missing something h
I concur. Othertimes I go for a tech victory. Sometimes even cultural. Depends on my mood. Get it?!?! ahahahahah I kill me

Don't underestimate the Populists! I just won my second all bright game with a heavy dose of diplomacy thanks in part to that bonus. My people love me, the aliens left me the heck alone...for far, far too long for their own good... I'm not disputing the money bonus the Federalists get- yes, it's great- but consider that high diplomacy, particularly if supplemented by racial picks, allows you to get money and techs in a more roundabout fashion, as well as numerous other advantages. I'm not saying
Neeeeeeeveeeeeeeer mind. I'm an idiot. M
I, too, cannot seem to update through stardock. I have tried it both with the view alphas/betas box checked and unchecked. I have the bonus pack installed.
Fair Use rights are based upon the level of infringement as balanced against four equally ranked categories. Those four are- 1. Purpose of the Use (Better if not for profit, etc.) 2. Nature of the Copyrighted work (The more fact-oriented the work you copied from, the better it is for you) 3. Amount and Substantiality of the Copied Work (In the case of the mod I am afraid that's a lot- both quality and quantity) 4. The Court's belief of the effects this copying
Frgoboy I concur with you......I don't even think you need to talk about the backstory, though! When people complain about being limited to one race, they usually mean a lack of cusomizability, which you have refuted. Unfortunately, I respectfully submit to you that in spite of this post people will continue to complain about "only being allowed to be human" if only becaus people are a contentious, opinionated lot! Hang in there anyway, your fans are with you Mark ;p
Thank you very much! Mark ~SDC~
