I've been on Twitter more since discovering the joy of various desktop apps for twitter - Twhirl, then Tweetdeck and now Mixero - so having another interesting "person" to follow is good. But also bad, since now I'll have even more opportunities to read things instead of do things. :) Liking the updates so far, twit-bits every now and then as development progresses would be great!
You know what, just dont involve yourself, you obviously totally missed the point of the comment you hopped in on, do your homework.
No, you missed the point. And continue to do so. Though as a 19 year old you telling me to grow up did provide a laugh, so kudos for that. The point is that the only winners in any such lawsuit would be the lawyers. As is the case in many such lawsuits over pe

I hope English is not your first language, else you've no business further polluting what is already a cesspool of a profession. Only a lawyer would seriously suggest this guy has a case worth pursuing if Stardock will not in fact honour a refund request. The only people who'd be making any serious money out of the case would be the lawyers, after all. "Mental angui
So it fixed the game for you and yet you're complaining?! It's better they update the game frequently than infrequently. Always.
I've liked the sound of the "Camp #1" model since it was first announced, since it means you're not restricted as to where you can build your preferred units, so long as you have the resources being shipped around in a sensible manner. I think the issue with it is not so much the level of complexity involved and more how well that level of complexity will scale into the later stages of a game. A completely made up and uninformed example: Late game my men capture a remote
Looking very nice. :) Will it be possible to incorporate some randomness into spells? e.g. Could a pyrostorm-like spell sometimes drop 10 fireballs, sometimes 9, sometimes drop them all at once, sometimes in clusters, etc? Or will it always be the same effect for the same spell? And beta "for June"? I'm going to assume you don't mean June 1st. ;)
Try the "select everyone and click on the enemy" some time. You can win doing it but the battlefield gets VERY messy, which is fun in its own way. :D
It might, but as I don't have a manual it's kinda of irrelevant if it's in there or not. ;)
Of course! :) Thanks. :)
Apologies to the guys I just played a Pantheon match with, but I couldn't find the Chat to All button, only the Allies one, so I couldn't "gg" and such. Can someone tell me how to chat to all? Because the key isn't listed in the options menu. Which is kind of irritating. :( But "gg" to Renjikenpachi, benny_buckshot and AvengerUK. Was my first multiplayer match and it was refreshing to see people not being rude in an MP game for once. :)
All boxed orders from us are CE until we run out.
And what about those of us who ordered the Digital Download before the CE was announced? Are we going to get a way to swap to the box or not?[e digicons]>_>[/e]
gerbercage the file will download pretty much as fast as your connection will allow and Impulse does support resuming of downloads. But at 50kbps it will, of course, take you quite a few hours to download it as it's more than 2GB to download. Pings will be dependent on who you're playing with. If you're playing with other people in your "South East Asia" country the ping would be fine. If you're playing with people in the US, your ping probably won't be great. But I expect you're used
Unless absolutely necessary, please don't make people download the entire beta client over and over and over. That was probably the worst part of the beta for me. I know sometimes that's what has to happen but there was a couple times the entire thing had to be downloaded again a couple of days later. An occasional update on when we can expect the next version to go up would be appreciated - ignore the whiners who wouldn't understand if you miss any of those dates. Everyone e
Oh, cool, cheers Frogboy. :) Looking forward to finally playing the singleplayer portion of the game.
One of the things I enjoy doing in RTS games is setting myself increasingly difficult challenges against the Skirmish AI. It's all well and good to stomp all over a single Easy opponent, but just how far can I take the stomping? Maybe I'm a little strange, but when you can't be bothered playing it against other humans, it adds a surprising amount of life to a game. Ordinarily these challenges only take place in the final versions of the game. I buy a new RTS, play some or all
My video card is around the 2 year old mark. It handles Demigod *okay*, but that Anti-Aliasing box sure would be nice to tick. Already considering a new one anyway but there's approximately 4702 models that would be upgrades for me. And just buying the most expensive one doesn't always work!
That way
Yes, I read your guess earlier in the thread. I was asking Frogboy to clarify for us whether it will be possible and if so, how. I hope your guess is right but it's better to ask directly. :)
Can we have a hint as to how we can upgrade from the Download Only version to this Collector's Edition? Because the Rook miniature certainly wasn't on offer way back when I preordered. :(
It needs to look cool otherwise it may as well be that playable spreadsheet people see some 4X games as being. Naming the rivers and forests sounds like a good idea. It may seem less good an idea when you're trying to name them all on the largest maps available. :D
Looking forward to Beta 0. I have some ideas... possibly not practical ones, but they're ideas nonetheless. Is it June yet? :)
For "Starting Gold" could we have an option above High but below Filthy Rich? Suggest "Very High" or "Rich", which would be set to 15,000g. Filthy Rich should mean you can buy any item in the game at the start of the game. 15,000 excludes some items, mostly the high end artifacts. 40,000 means you can buy a variety of lower end items or a top end artifact and some other knick-knacks.
Link? I mean I'll be posting my thoughts here. I've given up on fixing my regular blog for now. ;)
What happened with Beta 3F with the tournament and whatnot? :( But 10 or so days until I can play the proper Singleplayer sounds good to me. :)
