Well I uninstalled and reinstalled. Attempted to use his "normal" login/pass that i know..but none are being accepted. So either you guys are right or he used a different login I don't know about. Grrr....guess I'll just remove it for now till he gets back or calls so I can find out! Thanks Urlryn

Sorry...got called into work. hmmmm are you sure this isn't a legit version? My bro was the one that got it for me and installed it. How can I tell if its legit or not? He in the navy and overseas so really can't ask him when/where he purchased till he returns. Urlryn

Microsoft Update today Broke my WindowBlinds in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Everythign was great....not 10mins ago I got a messaage saying new updates from microsoft were ready to download and install. Mostly security updates and Outlook updates. Installed the updates and then it Asked to reboot....so I did. Windows loads up....windowblinds starts too and boom... Everything says unable to load bitmap can't load anythign anymore! Hehe i was on tech support with Microsoft a while back when i got those emails. They demanded me to forward them and was more worried about that then my exchange 2000 issue hehehe. Bastages! Adam's Lcar's theme is very unique and quite interesting. I use it myself cause i enjoy the feel and complexity of it. I've checked sooo many different Star Trek sites out there and none come close to how well his came out. Another problem you might be running into is (i've read somewhere this is happening) that people up load thier stuff in .ZIP format. But WC renames them to logonxp. So you might be running into a few of them that didn't realize this? Just a thought tho

Question for you Skinner/Programmers in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I was wondering how or if its even possible to make say like WinAmp, ICQ or Media Player or something like that into a DesktopX theme object or something like that? Not sure if thats is the best way to phrase the question. I'm seeing some cool DesktopX themes out there with multiple screens and was thinking of maybe having a program imbedded into the theme instead of double clicking the icon and having the program come up. I've seen people use DXplayer in there theme

Annoying Desktop.exe and Harddisk errors lately on alot of skins in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I'm noticing more and more a silly error when loading different themes. **DesktopX.exe - No Disk **There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \device\harddisk2\DR2 I've gotten it on a few themes lately. Same Exact Error Message. And you can't get rid of the message. Cancel 700 times doesn't do it. Rebooted, deleted, reloaded, redownloaded. If anybody has any idea ... let me know.

Question about Installing Updates in Component Manager in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Do you guys typically Uninstall previous versions and only use the new ones? or do you just install on top of the older ones? Currently i'm installing one on top of the other. I haven't tried just uninstalling and only installing newest ones. Tho when having a problem...and you goto uninstall all the versions...its missing all the previous ones and can't uninstall. So what do you gooroos do?
