Sounds like toggling this setting back and forth (if that's what's required) is something the upgrade installer should do, automatically, to avoid users having to do it.

Thank you Basj, this fixed the problem for me.
Hi, I just downloaded and installed the latest update package and following the necessary system restart, the icons on the taskbar are in disarray. Please see the attached screenshot, noting the bottom of the screen. Are you aware of this as a bug? Is it possible to revert to the earlier version if you don't have a fix for this?<img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/59/39/5939215/3f45afda-9398-4770-851a-d9eed9a226c2.jpg" alt="Icons on taskbar out of vertical alignment" width
Hi Brad, Great news about Start11 v2. Little language slip-up in the blog — https://www.stardock.com/blog/523496/introducing-start11-v2 "With a two-tone color scheme that compliments your own color or the system accent color, ..." This paragraph uses the word compliments with an "i". What it meant to say was complements with an "e". Change it, and your blog will be even more perfect than it is already... :) http://www.grammar-monster.com/easily_confused/c
Hi Basj, I can't reproduce it either, now, having made it go away by disabling and re-enabling Groupy2 as originally mentioned. If I determine a series of steps to go through to make the problem re-appear, I'll let you know. Otherwise, for now, case closed. Thanks for taking a look.
Hi Basj, here are those images, again. They're screenshots, with Microsoft Word active in a Groupyd window, and the Start11 configuration panel in view. Look closely at the area at the bottom of the images, and especially the bottom left of them. In the first image below, with Taskbar blurring switched on, something is wrong with how Groupy2 and/or Start11 have calculated the available window height (above the Taskbar) within which to display the Microsoft Word application tha
Hello Stardock People, There seems to be a bug in Start11 v. 1.47 and/or Groupy v. 2.12. Here's the Start11 configuration panel, seen on top of a Microsoft Word instance, with G
Hi, I made a suggestion about clarifying something on the General Configuration Page — unfortunately, seemingly in the wrong part of the forum, but the link to the post (with screenshots) is here: https://forums.stardock.com/520570/suggestion-for-clarity#3892367

Hi, Just a suggestion for hopefully improving clarity on the Groupy 2 Beta General Configuration Page (see illustrations below). I'm finding the wording on the configuration option " Turn off Groupy for this account " a bit confusing. " Whilst we love Groupy and we hope you do too, you can disable Groupy in this account by enabling this. " <span style="color: #0000ff
Hi Basj, I've tried again with the same (seemingly abnormal) result. All that happens when I double-click a Fence's title-bar is that a full-screen File-Explorer / Directory Opus view of my main folder opens. (I did previously have this folder as the target of a Fences Portal.) If I reposition the Fence against a screen-edge, it rolls up and down as it should - not on double-click, but on mouse-over. I'll manage without double-click roll-up. Thanks agai
Hi Basj, I tried the .bat script in the zip file you linked to, but my anti-virus software wouldn't entertain it. Saw it as a threat, "disinfected", and "quarantined" it. So I tried a manual re-install, from a freshly downloaded installer. That didn't fix the anomaly either. I've theorised that Fences probably heavily interacts programmatically with Windows File Explorer, and that this non-rolling-up anomaly may arise because I am running a File Explorer alternative --
Hi Basj, It's Microsoft Windows 11 Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963)
Hi, I'm new to Fences 4. When I double-click a Fence's title bar, it doesn't roll up. It rolls up and down only if I dock the Fence to one of the screen edges. Is this normal, please?
