OK, one more thing to add to the confusion... :o) If I order through Wal-Mart.com will I get the pre-order items? It does not list anything about getting any bonus material what-so-ever. Can someone definitively answer this for me, please?

if you preorder you get the default set and an additional set of components. Is this true if I pre-order at EB Games? Makes me wonder why they would not list something like Additional Ship Components that could get people to order the game possibly.

The extra ship components are pure fluff. They do nothing except change the way the ship looks. So, you are saying the extra components are really nothing more then bits and pieces to add on to your ship for looks only? Nothing added to really change the way it behaves, or any real outworking that would give an advantage over an opponent

ALL Empire Communication threads Should Have. . . in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I think there should be a Tab (to the Left) for Empires, as this would allow easier location and communication for each Empire. All existing Empire Communications should be moved to that New Forum location. It would clean the Galactic Forum Main Page so it is not so cluttered with a bunch of various Empire threads. This would make for an Empire Forum with a few well used threads and leave the Main Forum for general questions and such which would be easier to navigate

I have a general question or two. Is there an Empire that leans toward the Good not the Evil? Is there an Empire where the members do not swear all the time? This is likely not a big problem unless the Empire has a forum they use for them selves. Thanks for the help.

Well, I sold my copy on eBay, but I sent a mail to Support asking them to remove my name so the next person could use the copy I had purchased. I also, asked for conformation but I received no response. I have no way of checking to see if they did so or not since I no longer have the game, and since I deleted it off the HD to be honest and not play the game any longer.

Random Events Need to be just that, Random. Sometimes they will help if you are Evil others they should help if you are Very Good. As it stands it is Random only in the sense that you do not kow when they will next arrive, but you know that you will gain if you play Evil, and be penalized if you are Good.

I still think the game is slanted toward being Evil as opposed to being VERY Good. Random events always come with a penalty for making the "Good" choice and a bonus for making the Evil choice. If you play with All Good choices then it takes a portion of the Fun away knowing that every event results in a penalty to your race. I also seem to have other races not liking me no matter how good I am as well. GalCiv just loses a bit of the Fun factor for me in this r

This is one main reason I have stopped playing GalCiv for awhile. I play making ALL Good choices and only get penalized for it. This makes no sense at all. That people's only gain when being evil. Instead of a negative impact on your society when making a "Good" choice you should gain in other areas. E.g. If I choose to NOT Allow people to work in a highly dangerous environment, I may lose on the profits that come in, but I should gain on my people being content, a

Hi, I reinstalled SDC after a clean system install and Now I can not figure out how to get SDC to reconize me and my SDC Code. Could someone please give me a DEFINITIVE answer to which Events in the Library Section will work with the latest version of GalCiv?
