I swear by my 30gb Zune; my wife and daughter also use them, and I'm on my third (one handed down, one dropped). Good headphones are essential, and my everyday favorites are a set by Sony that wrap around my ear (MDR-AS20J). But my best set are the Bose In-Ear headphones--expensive, but Bose quality sound creates the ultimate listening experience. The 30gb Zune is being discontinued, so I would recommend eBay or Craigslist to get the best deals. I hope to save up for the Zune HD...And

I worked for Linens N' Things, and when they started their "liquidation sale", the liquidators marked everything-including previously reduced clearance-up to full retail in order to 'reduce' the prices 10-20%. It was a complete and total joke. But, those who over-ran the store thought they were getting real bargains. We got more complaints from customers who couldn't read the policy signs, such as "all sales final" and "no refunds or returns". Buyers, beware. There will be more retail

OK, I think I understand. I have the driver, but it's not driving anywhere. I have the card, but it's not my birthday. I have the program, but it doesn't work. I had the cash, but it's all gone now. Sucks being me, I guess. Thanks everybody. [e digicons]x_x[/e]

Well, thanks Neil. I appreciate your response. But what the heck does that mean? It isn't a DX9 part? Sorry, as I semi-stated earlier, I'm not the computer guru that some of my younger friends are; do I have DX9 or not, and what else do I need to run DeskScapes? As always, I remain confused...and frustrated. [e digicons]o_O[/e] [e digicons]#:([/e]

To answer earlier inquiries: Running Win XP SP2 (SP3 won't install) on a Dell Dimension 2350 with a 2.2gHz and 1,024 mb RAM. Graphics is Intel 82845 G/GL/GE/PE/GV. DreamScapes slows machine to a worthless crawl. I'm not unhappy for spending the money, and I could post in the Support Thread (and may, eventually). I know that the ppl here will help me, if with nothing else than honest feedback (and so will Stardock). I'm just not the computer wizard that some of my friends are, and I'd rather a

I was able to update Impulse and DeskScapes, and strangely enough, the only .dream I could get to work was the Stardock cube. DreamScapes bogged my machine down so badly that I couldn't run anything else, especially my browser(s). I love Stardock and its products, but this was, seemingly, a waste of my money. My bad. Oddly enough, I just tried to update through Impulse and it told me that it "doesn't support my operating system". I am going to reboot now and try again.

I just purchased DeskScapes and installed it. When I tried to run the program, I received the following: "The ordinal 345 could not be located in the dynamic link library COMCTL32.dll". I have no idea what that means. Running WinXP on a Dell Dimension 2350, 2.1gHz/768 ram. Thank you for any support that makes this work.

If I'm not mistaken, the rights to "Happy Birthday to You" are still (I know they used to be) owned by Sir Paul McCartney, in a package deal that included most of the Buddy Holly catalog and gems like, "I'm A Ramblin' Wreck From Georgia Tech". I knew that piece of trivia would come in handy some day... p.s. This purchase had nothing to do with the sale of his OWN songs to Michael Jackson.
