Geesh, you can't be serious. Do I have to watch these multiple windows trying to sell me games everytime I launch Impulse? Please somebody tell me what's going on. Maybe I've done something wrong. Otherwise this is a blatant piece of adware such as I would never have expected Stardock to try to foist on its loyal following. Please explain. Thank you for your help.

I don't have too big a problem with the idea of MyColors themes costing something--that is, as long as I can keep skinning my windows with WB and with new WB themes. I'm not one of those people who needs his skins seamlessly prepackaged with software in order to install and run themes. Why should I have to download the software every time I want a new theme? WB 5 UNLOADS FOR NO REASON in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I've rebooted, reinstalled WB, uninstalled the WB beta, installed the stable version, reinstalled the video and monitor drivers, and repeated bits and pieces of this in various sequences. To no avail. I've been running WB for years (ODNET) and never had this problem. Mostly problem free, although I did have installation problems with early WB 5 betas. Neil, Not sure if you're referring to the exception message I mentioned or to the non-appearance of my installed skins in the WB 5 config. I'll address the latter. Thanks, but clicking the Rebuild button doesn't help. I've tried it about 6 times. The window refreshes but the only two skins that show are Windows XP and Classic.

I'm using WB 5.0.1. Most things seem to be working fine, although clicking on the Appearance tab in Display applet causes an exception, which I can document if needed. My big problem is that my installed skins don't show up in WB 5 previews, even skins I've newly installed since this latest version of WB 5. This was helpful to me, who knew little details about Aston. I'd like to see a comparison of system performance under the two shells.
