Need help starting out in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

I've only played a little of Galactic Civilizations 2, and I'm getting my ass handed to me in 3. I've tried a few different things, military focus, money focus, tech focus, and even a mix of all; however, I keep running into problems. When I finally get a few planets claimed and star-bases around important resources, almost all the AI start war with me and they have the same tactics. Defense vs TEC super-weapons as Vasari? in Sins Rebellion Sins Forums

Hello, I'm playing multiplayer with a friend and we have run into an annoying problem. The TEC AI keep spamming their super-weapons at every planet, and killing everyone on them. Do the Vasari have any defense that can be built for this? Also, I know mods exist to turn off or disable super-weapons, but do they work for multiplayer?
