I am a 40 years old fan of the original games but I also have and like most of Stardock games. Galactic Civlizations series are a really made and complete game. I have more than 300 games at steam and I have aquired the ability discern if a game is complete and well made. Instead we got another Sorceror King. Which made me sad. I hope the developers take the bad comments and rating to heart and make everything in their power to make a Galactic Civiizations grade game out of this mess of

Yes, it is always because of bad reviewers othrewise the game is soo good. Poor Stardock.

I am still concerned about not having a crowded open beta. There should be one if the people report bugs the game should be delayed.

Me too. I was tight on funds when it came.

Being an mechanical engineer I am more inclined to realism but there should be sweet spot. Also you can never satisfy everyone so make the game really easy to mod. People get whatever flavor they want. Also the new XCOM and XCOM 2 games really had good options to customize the campains allowing the people to have a variety without modding the game. But it did not stop people from modding the game as I said it is hard to satisfy everyone.

Although I am a big fan of nearly all stardock games and star control, I am really troubled by games that are not undergone a full crowded open beta that covers the whole game. I am also a big fan of mass effect franchise and look what being rushed by EA and going to release without a good beta test did to Mass Effect Andromeda and killed the franchise. Yeah i was hoping for a full game for a long time and i downgraded my hopes to hopes for a exploration beta. The announced release date is around 40 ish day and i am really afraid of a game without going over a long full game beta. Space combat is an important part of the game but it is far from what makes the whole game a star control game.

The game is so close to launch. I am tired of fleet battles betas. When are we getting a exploration Beta?
