I'm glad to hear more content is in the pipeline. I don't think I'll pay for a Season's Pass styled DLC until all of the pieces are released. Paying forward for unknown content is getting a bit trite these days. If the content put out is worth it, I'll surely drop $20 down the road, just not up front.

I don't want to dissuade you from your chosen method of play. Late game, SC2 and SC:Origins are more combat as you have a lot of travelling to complete quests. Granted, you can go out of your way to avoid combat, but that's part of a Star Control game. Once your main ship is pimped out, you won't need to land on planets in order to have enough RU to stay fueled.
This it not a "O M G the Measured are too OP" thread. I was looking at the global stats for recorded matches, and so far, the Measured do stand out above and beyond most ships. In-game Story mode, the first time you fight a Measured ship, just one of them can easily topple your entire fleet if you don't have a good, fast, ranged counter to them. As far as in-game story goes, I'm fine with the Measured having an "OP" ship. Early game, you learn not to m
I like the idea of a starmap / world notation system blended with a way point / Favorites list.
Much like SC2, over the length of a FULL play through, you won't be spending as much time on planets. Early game, there is a grind. It's always gonna be there in this game. Luckily, Stardock hid a bunch of RU gems on planets in the form of side quests / exploration rewards that give thousands of RU at a time. Once you get past a certain amount of building up the main ship and fleet, you'll be ignoring planets that only have 1 RU or 5RU resources and on
There are some materials you'll need to solve side quests in the game. So far I've only seen the need for 1 of the type required. Sadly, no option to split stacks (yet). Best thing to do is pay attention when you find something that requires a particular element, make a note, and then come back later once it's in your inventory. Spoiler below:
Early Game you'll need 1 Uranium and 1 Neutronium for two different side quests.
Marbozir is a good guy, I love his content! I hope he does a long series for SC:Origins!!
I've experienced the same bug. Sometimes the Sell Conventionals is greyed out, even though there are plenty of lower tier resources to sell. I, too, would love to see some what to split a stack / sell by quantities for the exotics.
Actually, if you left-click a planetary body, the name shows up. FYI.
Thanks, can confirm it works, but it takes a few clicks (dunno if it's just my game or not, but it's not very responsive to left clicks on planets).
[Obligatory Praise] Enjoyed my weekend diving into this game. All the feels of SC2 with modern polish and love Inventory Management: Add the ability to Split Stacks. Spoiler Free: There are some resources you will need to complete side objectives for this game. However, when you sell items, you only have the option to sell the whole stack. These means holding onto said re
I landed on the Moon, and was able to jump using the spacebar. Haven't tried a controller yet (I grew up on SC2, so keyboard feels natural to me). No extra module was needed. I did notice that you can't remap the ESC key, which is weird. I wanted to move it to the tilde ~ key since it's easier to hit without lifting your hand off of the keyboard (great for hostile planets in SC2 original).
Evening, I wanted to post the issues I had with unlocking the full game. I was in the Beta, bought the game through GoG. Tonight when I went to play the game, the version was "unknown" and it would not let me see the new title movie / start a new game / etc. I tried to get the game to update with no luck. I eventually tried a repair through the GoG launcher and it detected a new patch but then hung there for 30 minutes, never downloading.
