My computer crashed earlier tonite, so I had to reinstall from scratch. It was DEAD. After installing all my software, I went to my start menu to organize it and it won't let me move group or delete anything. I can't move anything into the start menu, nothing. Any ideas other than another 4 hours of reinstallation?

When I drag Deer Park alpha 2 into my object dock I get a question mark instead of the icon. And then when I click on it it says there is no file associated with this action????? Any ideas?

I was just wondering if DX can be scripted to control any media player at all or if there are only certain ones. I happen to use Nero Mediaplayer, and if it is possible to script for it, I would like to learn how so I can control it within DX. Any help appreciated.

Looked pretty good from the screenshot. I like the start panel persoanlly. Definitely needs an appropriate start button though.

Try getting with Stardock support on this. A lot of people here use FF and if there is some kind of conflict, I'm sure they'd like to know and would get on fixing it.
Intel is just taking plays out of the Microsoft playbook. AMD generally has a better product than Intel, so Intel is making up for it by playing the bully. If things go the same as they did for MS, by the time things are sorted out and settled, Intel will pay big fines, say we won't do it again and AMD will be in worse shape because of all the legal bills.

I have been trying to get a copy of Xymantix's Wallpaper Xchange, but the connection is refused everytime I click on the download link. It also happens when I click the Sysmetrix link. I was wondering if anyone out there who has a copy could e-mail me a copy of it to [email protected]. Thanks
I've downloaded several DX themes recently. As I never used to use them before, some things I don't know how to do. For example one theme in the internet popout has opera as the browser, but I use firefox. How do i change the name and target. Do I have to go in and re-assign every button I want to change? Or is there an easier way I'm just not getting?
I have never skinned a thing in my life (that's why I am so impressed with some of the people here). I'm kinda weird about having things match and would like to be able to make logons that match wallpapers I have downloaded. They are for my own use, unless permission is given of course. But I do know enough to know that just replacing the bitmap_100 isn't going to give me a quality logon. Is there anyplace someone can direct me to that can teach me

I installed Desktop Gadgets today and once I had it on my system I noticed that all the gadgets (silica whatever) were all pretty much already done as widgets. So what exactly is the difference between a widget and a gadget?
I installed CCleaner and made the changes to the SDCentral options. Don't know which one did it, but it took care of the problem. Thanks to both of you.
No, it loads the same whether I use widgets or not. When the problem started, the only Stardock products on the system were SD Central and Cursor XP. I just downloaded CCleaner to try it. I'll have to wait on the other program - just bought a car and I'm broke, but I do have TuneUp 2004 to clean the registry.
