I just played a multiplayer game with a human ally versus AI opponents, and we ran into a number of bugs, some of which are pretty serious. Once your empire grows to the point that you are managing multiple fleets, which are possibly fighting simultaneously but at great distances from each other, it can be rather difficult to keep track of what is happening. It would be really great if the player could get voice updates from the fleets. They don't need to be complex, and they don't even need to be voice-acted. I also don't really know what corvettes are good for. In the Homeworld games, ships in the corvette-type class of class were generally anti-fighter ships; they had guns that could track fast enough to hit fighters, and the corvettes themselves _moved_ fast enough to not be hit by the big anti-capital ship beam weapons. To your first complaint, mousing over the research button will show you both what is currently being researched and it's progress and what's queued up behind it. As for knowing if you need more research stations, again, mousing over the desired research
