I used to be a Steam purist who refused to buy a game if it was on any other platform. Now I really don't care so long as I can play the games I love. I look forward to more competition in the digital distribution platforms.

Are you using any mods? It's possible that another mod or game def is taking priority.
What is the specific error you are getting when you attempt to update the game?
Sorry to hear you are having issues with GPU temps. I've ran a XFX R9 290X in my other gaming machine since they came out and they are notorious for running hot. Even with the DD Cooling the GPUs in those cards can cook. With that being said I can suggest a couple of things. 1. If you haven't done it in a while, do a clean install of the AMD drivers. I generally do a clean install over an upgrade with graphics drivers due to some weird behavior at times. 2. Check the Glo
We appreciate the suggestion.
I get the same error. I am running an AMD RX580 which is not an old card.
I'm running a AMD RX580 in one of my machines as well, and haven't had any issues so far. What driver version are you running?
I've picked up a bug with game build v1.10.54010 which was reported on the Steam technical support page, but I'll repeat the important details here because it seems to be more active! (Feel free to move threads if necessary) Beside the "Monitor Deep Starbase" I started a conversation with the Tywom vessel and does not seem to be an exit to the conversation. There are 3 topics and all of them end with asking if there is anythi
The Tywom Urin bug should be corrected now. Thank you all for your patience while we get it fixed!
Hey everyone! Sorry to hear you are having issues with the conversation since the update. We're reviewing the issue and will look at getting it resolved as quickly as possible.
Sorry to hear the controller is giving you fits. We appreciate the feedback and will have the team take a look.
Calling all explorers! Now that you've had time to explore the far reaches of Star Control: Origins I want to see your favorite planet in the game. It could be that you like the way the planet looks, discovered a carefully hidden secret, or it's your favorite color. Share it with the community! *** MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD *** </stron
Awesome designs everyone!
Can you build me one to? Looks like a solid build.
Thank you all for making awesome designs for us to check out. We had a blast playing with them.
I actually really enjoy the fortress battles. The loot crates are BS, but I find attacking forts to breaks the monotony of smashing through captain after captain.
No problem, thanks. I never used Discord before. I finally found Star Control, but I can't post. I tried to add Frogboy as a friend since he was easy to add. Let me know if I'm doing the wrong thing. Thanks again! Welcome to the beginning of a long series of discussions with the community? Each week I'll add a topic for discussion, and sometimes point toward specific questions related to said topic. This week I'm keeping it a little broad. I know there's been limited information on Star Control: Origins, but we should still be able to have some fun. What is THE feature you want to see added or improved in SCO? (Remember Founders Details are still under NDA) </stron
I definitely understand what you're saying. I find myself going back and playing older games lately. I've picked up a few cheap indie games that have been fun, but no blockbuster titles. At this point I'm just waiting for Shadow of War...
No, I agree, this is worrying! No news, nothing. Is StarDock expecting us to pay for news (become founders)? I mean, I don't expect founder level information, but something every few month or two would be reassuring. I am against pre-orders/early-access/"founder system"/"paying for the hope of a good game", so I won't be going that route.
No one is expecting you to pay
I like the idea of having a living galaxy. So many games have great features and story, but in the end they feel so empty.
