Hey guys, the 1.84 release caught me completely off guard. Thank the Gods FoK still works with 1.84 LOL. I am releasing my Sol Map Pack. The pack includes 6 maps including a readme of important information regarding each map. I consider only 1 map "finished" which is "Battle of Sol". The biggest issue with these maps is that I do not have a way of matching planet types with the mod, Fall of Kobol. This means that the planets will most likely not match up. The Sol System contai

I've been working on a Fall of Kobol map that I want to test out with another person. It starts with 2 Colonial Players at Sol. The system is divided equally at the start. It essentially takes place ~25-40 years after the end of the series. The main goal is to return back to the original 12 colonies and clear out the reactivated Cylons before they become an organized entity that finds Earth. About 30-45 minutes into the game, players will be under invasion. The map of the 12
Quoting xTRICKYxx, reply 10What I distributed is Stardock's activation software. It is not part of the game. The problem here is that if a person were to obtain an illegal copy of the game, they could use what you are distributing to enable them to use the illegal copy of the game. Therefore, your link would help the ones who were using warez versions. Not a good thing. <b

But distributing files violates the license.
I am distributing an older program to Activate the game. Sorry. The newer program would not work for me, so I obtained an older version of SDActivate instead. *What I distributed are two files from the older installation of Sins.
Try clearing out C:/Program Data/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/License and try again.
I tried that. However, the folder is empty no matter. I did delete everything that Stardock created including that directory and redownloaded as well.

Well then they should be doing something to fix the issue... at least I would hope that's what support will do.
They were helping, but could not figure it out. I have redownloaded it several times.

So, I have Windows 7 x64 and I recently bought the game. I had the opportunity to play the game on this machine before a couple years ago, but I decided to buy it through steam instead of finding the disks. After downloading, I get a prompt by this window called 'Stardock Account Registration'. There are 3 boxes I need to fill out: Stardock Account Email, Password, and Serial. I obtain my serial by right-clicking the game on Steam to view the key. I already had a Stardock account Emai

This actually opens up the Game launcher, letting me choose from Play and Chapter. However, after selecting it, the Stardock Account Registration pops up again; causing me into a roadblock. I fill out all the info; but, nothing happens when clicking register.... :(
