I don't see the point of nerfing them since they are already so easy to kill. Their DPS may be high and they may be cheap, but the total damage you can do with them against a prepared enemy isn't that high since they'll die in what, 10-20 seconds?

That's not a bug, it's just that you mopped the floor with your enemies and the game is acknowledging your prowess over and over :)
Well i haven't tried the last beta build but i did get a few rebel/loyalist mixed on random games with the first and second beta builds so unless something got broken with the last one i think it's just bad luck
That's because random means random, instead of proportionally or evenly distributed as you may think. It's completely possible (although unlikely) to play dozens of 10 FFA games and not seeing one of the races appear even once. If you want evenly distributed races just assign the races by yourselves, otherwise you'll get random ones ;) Edit: Any programmer can tell you a story or two about how the typical 'throw a dice' or 'flip a coin' program deli
That would still not fix the Artefact planet bug (thanks Haze, didn't realize that, I forgot it's present in every map, and not just the ones with the victory condition activated).

They tend to have structures and ships - it is not a bug, in fact, some per-built maps come with neutral colonies. ^^^ this. solution: stop trying to use the ingame map editor, and use galaxy forge.
:( But, but, every time I tried to make a map using galaxy forge I get an instant automatic de
That's exactly the problem, and every planet in this map is a neutral colonies (it's a custom large made map made through the in-game thingie, so it's not like I place them there myself). I've even encountered a neutral colony with several vasari capital ships and a titan! There are lots of maps with neutral colonies, so I guess it's a bug after all and it'll be fixed when they fix the Artefact planet bug. (And if you didn't think about this yet, ta
The thing is, they don't get colonized by colony ships nor by Akkans... The planet in this case is a moon, i get the message "Can only be used on neutral targets" when I use the ability. Same happens with every other planet that belongs to a neutral faction. Maybe I discovered a bug? See here:
This is probably going to be a dumb question, but how are we supposed to colonize the neutral planets after researching this tech? If we are not supposed to colonize them at all (which was my initial guess) then the tech does not make much sense since neutrals don't build trade ports or give you any income and don't accept missions of any kind, nor you can use their planets to build new structures. Sure, it allows you to move through the map fast and to go to th
I guessed as much since this is the first beta, but i thought it was worth pointing out
I've found when playing a team player battle on my local machine with 5 ai's that the game is randomly freezing for a second and in no longer playable. About the same here, the AI never sends more than 20-40 frigates at best (no capital ships) and no matter if it's rebels or loyalists they tortoise a lot. I had randomized AI behaviour so it may be that both AIs were defensive ones. The victory conditions were last flagship and last capital planet (both activated) This was in a big map, (60-80 planets, 5 stars, 3 players myself a rebel tec, the other two rebel and loyalist tec). Also, I've noticed the rebels only send
