Dang. I was hoping for covert assassination and seizure of intellectual assets.
LOL I really shouldn't laugh but... dang
Taslios
I understand why the team chose to go "truly" alien with all the aliens.... but it would be sorta neat to see a few tropeish "space elf" "Space fairy" "Space nymph" type races... even if they are just minor way station races...
More critters always good, especially giraffes. The Maelnir need a purple background.
Not really Planet... but I do hope we get to find a major species that is all Giraffes sorta like Dolphins from HGttG... The Maelnir need to be more than just one quirky conversation and an easily findable sales location.... they should move after
The planets should be significantly larger. with hazards more easily identified... oh lava planet with lake of lava.. don't drive there etc. Give the player the option of having additional landing zones, or picking their landing zone and have the difficulty of the landing change based on where the player picked. Add water and perhaps the ability to submerge. calm down the topography... or make the lander climb better...
they really should make the fan fiction non-skipppable
So when you bonk into Earth and or Star Control you get the Press E to talk pop up. When you go and bonk into Triton, you get the landing screen. if you exit and turn the wrong way, you get the landing screen. if you leave and again turn the wrong way, you get the landing screen. rinse repeat. this bonk landing screen can really get flustering if you are just trying to scout a system. Could we get an option to "Press E" to la
Don't forget that you can buy fuel at a lot of places other than Earth so the round trip range is not as big of a deal as it was in 2. That said.. having a note saying going to x star system will take 2000 units of fuel and I only have 1500 units when I click on the link in the captain's log would be very useful...
How long do you watch it.... it starts off scrambled and then cuts to the visable...
Something something somthing Get down tonight!
three new alien races spoilers! nice!
I'm hoping AMD also sent you some ridiculously powerful new stuff.... hmmm threadripper... It is really cool to hear that the game will run on low end stuff. that's going to be huge! That said is it going to still need lots of ram?
The lander hovers over the surface of the "land" planets. so the stock lander should skim the surface of the water. There should be mods that can be added to the lander like the jump mod that already exists to give it the dive ability... and then perhaps additional mods to do deep dive.. similar to how you have resistance to insta-death when landing on Venus.. etc...
So I'm going to be a rabble rouser and say that while I totally get why you made the UI look like how you did.. I like this version better than the final:
Pretty sure the Founders have had the full game for a while now. That was one of the perks of being a founder.
...you have honor? [e digicons]:D[/e]
Everyone does... the important question is which type? "Among thieves?" Klingon? Dwarven? French Foreign legion? Knights Templar? Word of a Scorpion needing to cross the river? His image is of a Killer Whale, so I'm guessing as long as we are not swimming in his water, a seal, dolphin, or shark, we should be
Multiplayer games allow for a lot of instant purchase small transaction cash flow.... Look at the WoW pets or the loot crates that EA seems to love so much. probably the worst thing that has happened in the past few years is EA's insistence on everything they make being multiplayer. Especially in games like Mass Effect where the game SHOULD be all about you and only you.... mutter mutter... <
Well there are a few questions that they could elaborate on.... or at least tease.. "hey BionicDance, Great question, I could totally answer that, but spoilers and such. Tune in to our E3 Press conference." but actually my earlier post wasn't just towards StarDock. seems that there have been fewer customer posts lately as well....
where is everyone? there has been a dearth of activity on this forum lately. Seems everyone is focused on E3....
And that went directly to awkward sexual advances.......
Considering that P&F being in the legal wrong would allow Stardock to recover the costs plus penalties at the end of the litigation, the one that bungled their cost-benefit analysis is not Stardock. And considering that failure to go after P&F when they infringed upon the trademark weakens the mark, the cost of not going after them starts at however much money Stardock has already sunk into expanding the Star Control mark, and goes u
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 373 ...anyway you can bet, many Trekkies were not happy about that - especially, since the creators claimed continuity with Prime Universe...and then first thing they do is to change the looks of their most iconic race. I, for one, was not impressed.
^^^^ what he said ^^^^ There are soo sooo so many reasons Laks why what you think could have happened absolutely would never ever have happened. No company would buy IP and spend the money SD has spent and then react in the way you seem to think they should have.
