i bought the game about a year ago and i played it for awhile before uninstalling it. i put it back on my computer but i need my serial number for downloads. i lost it along with the case for the game. what should i do?

i have had the game for about a year and a long time ago i took it off my puter, now i put it back on but i lost my serial # along with the case. i had kept the cd with my other games in a cd case. i want to download updates and stuff but i cant. wat should i do?
