Thanks for your feature suggestion. This has been discussed with the developer previously, and unfortunately, nested fences are unlikely to be implemented (at least anytime soon).

This is a known issue with the free version of Fences. This has been resolved in Fences Pro, but the free version generally lags behind in updates. For the latest updates, I would recommend purchasing Fences Pro.

I deleted your previous post. Please, no swearing on our forums. Please note that we try to respond to email support inquiries via [email protected] within 1-2 days. You may get a response on the forums sooner, but it is not the official channel for support. Generally speaking, support via email is going to be a bit more in depth. I'm not sure where you are seeing "program already installed, please upgrade using impulse", as

Try downloading the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_impulse_installer.reg save the file and run it. If in Firefox or a non-IE browser, you may have to go to File > Save Page as... if the link shows as plain text (if you're not sure, just follow the link in Internet Explorer). Once you do this, install Impulse from the latest installer here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_

Are you installing through Impulse or standalone executables? Do you have any entires for the programs listed in "Programs and Features" under the Control Panel, or under the "My Software" tab in Impulse?
I believe it also needs to be downloaded with Internet Explorer.
Only things like .reg or .bat files. Some browsers don't handle files with 'unknown' extensions very well. You should be able to download an executable file through any browser.

Are they currently uninstalled? If not, please uninstall through Impulse (if installed through Impulse), otherwise through Windows Control Panel. If so, it sounds like you have some files left over from the installation. Please download the following removal utility: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe <span class="Apple-style-span" style=

It looks like we gave you a credit toward your ObjectDesktop subscription because we were unable to resolve the issue through reasonable troubleshooting. At this point it's looking like there may be a problem with the operating system installation itself. Unfortunately, as we provided a credit, we can no longer assist in the support process. If someone can solve this here on the forums, then by all means out-troubleshoot us! My only questions is - are you installing WindowBlinds on a Limited

Please ensure that you don't have "Lock Fences" enabled. You can check by right-clicking on your desktop -> View -> Lock Fences.
I have the same problem as Mitch111, except i'm using my desktop computer with Win7 64bit, and i dont have a capable net connection to download it through impulse.
Could you post a screenshot of the error you are seeing? You could exchange the DVD for another from the place of purchase, as it's possible you received a bad disc, or you can download through Impulse.

NeoWolfen, try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double-click it to apply it. Then launch Impulse and login with your account (same account as the forums) and run Elemental.

Please try the following, as it may help with resolution changes: 1.) Right-click on your desktop, then select 'Configure Fences' 2.) Select 'Tools' -> 'More tools' 3.) Enable 'Store fence sizes and positions on a per-screen-resolution basis'
