Fences is certainly not dead, and is currently actively undergoing development. More details should be available soon, though I don't have an ETA at this time.

Fences actually has this functionality already. In the Fences settings under 'Tools', the snapshots feature allows you to revert to a previous desktop setup.
Currently neither Fences free or pro will allow you to disable auto-arrange.
I'm sure Netflix is plenty profitable, but don't forget that their profit margins are slimming due to greedy movie studios asking for more and more money in their contracts each time renewal comes up. Deals have reached into the billions (*cough* Paramount *cough*) http://techcrunch.com/2010/08/10/netflix-lands-streaming-deal-with-paramount-mgm-lionsgate/
Dougo33, I have addressed the issues that you raised in a reply to your support ticket.
How many WindowBlinds skins do you currently have in your skin library?
Can you please include a picture of what you see when you apply the theme in Windowblinds?
...and they told me I would never amount to anything ;)
Very exciting stuff, indeed!
Do you have a folder named 'Themes' under C:\? If so, please try temporarily renaming this folder and try installing CursorFX again. If you are able to install, you can change the name of that folder back to 'Themes'.
You can access your registrations and download links by logging in with your Stardock account here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products Keep in mind that trial versions of our software are not upgradable to the full versions by entering a product key, and they must be uninstalled and the PC rebooted before installing the full version of any app.
I have responded to your support ticket.
You can find more information on this here: http://forums.impulsedriven.com/409594
Hi M-203, I have just replied to your email. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.
Hi aviatorrockon, I have responded to your support ticket. Note that a response generally takes 2 business days (more or less depending on current workload).
Hi, M-203 I have responded to your support ticket just now. Can you please attempt the restore in the manner I describe and respond with the requested information?
Hi, aviatorockon. I have responded to your support ticket.
Unfortunately, the server that this is hosted on is experiencing problems. We hope to have the issue fixed soon, but I don't have an ETA at this time.
That removed all the software I had spent two days installing and I then had to reinstall the operating system from the restore partition to get my desktop back.
Do you mean that all the icons on the desktop were missing? If that's the case, then simply double-clicking the desktop would have resolved the problem. Double-clicking on the desktop toggles the quick-hide feature.
The problem is that ObjectDock is displaying the 16x16 icon as 32x32. The stretching of the icon results in it looking very blurry.
Not sure about any major development in the next month. Bug reports do get forwarded to the developer, however. Are you having any specific issues with ObjectDock?
We constantly scan the files hosted on Impulse for threats, so this is likely a false positive. Just as a sanity check, try uploading the reported files to http://www.virustotal.com/ so that you can see if this is being picked up by many other antivirus engines.
Not currently - Fences installs for all users. However, the fences themselves are created per-user, so the other users could simply not create fences.
Since Fences has been released, and there have been a decent amount of bugfixes, you should update from the release candidate. You can download the latest version either through Impulse or from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/downloads.asp
ObjectDock is still itself a 32-bit application. That being said, it has support for 64-bit versions of Windows now (whereas ObjectDock v1.9 did not).
