Um I was just looking through the newest OD icons and docklets. Has anyone else tried to use the newest posted docklets? I downloaded a couple of them out of curiousity, even though I already other versions of these docklets, and I'm kinda confused. They're all executable files, and I can't tell exactly what they want to do, since the menus aren't in English. Anyone using these? Sorry forg

Cobalt has been prepacked as a theme, but many of the available icons for the dock are not. So the way to use FauxS is to unzip that package to its own directory in your OD folder and then manually apply whatever you want to use from that pack. You'd create a new shortcut, then rightclick on that new icon, go to icon properties. You'll see a change image button there. Then you browse to the FausX folder and find the icon you want. Now you can package and save your own themes in th

To make a link on the dock to a particular folder, this is what I do. In the links field of a new shortcut, I put the full path to the directory in the link bar. Argument is blank. So for example you might put "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Music" without the quotes of course as a link.

A new update was issued to disable the problematic function (Smart Startup? What is that?) but reportedly didn't work. So it's not just neophil who had problems with that update. Smart Startup is the new splash screen you see while Windows is booting, I believe? Seems to speed up startup a bit.

Wow I thought it was just me!!! I've had this happen 3 or 4 times. It took me awhile to figure it out, the first couple of times I wasn't even able to get in to Task Manager to see what was going on so I had to just force the computer to reboot. .
