Nevermind I got it working. A Skinstudio uninstall/install fixed the problem.

Proxy support would be great. Its a pain editing out the isInternetConnected if block on every weather & stock object. A "Gather" command similar to Litestep would be useful as well. Sux when objects created for large resolutions don't appear on screen.
I miss the newest skins side-bar as well. It takes an extra click to see whats new now.
Brad are you being fair with your memory comparison? Wouldn't it make more sense to compare Konfabulator to DesktopX with all the widgets running as exe's? Just out curiousity, is there any reason why Stardock doesn't make more format converters? Here's a couple of things I'd like to see: 1. Virtual Desktop Object. Not like the white box thing that ships with DX, but something similar to the E pager (enlightenment.org) that shows mini-desktop screenshots. 2. Maybe I'm doing this wrong. I've created an object as my background layer, then I've created another object with my IP address on it that gets its information from the "System Information Text Display" plugin. After doing that I grouped the objects using the "Optimized" option. When I go to the "summary" tab for my IP Address meter the size variables are locked (I can't change them to be the same size as my background layer). Ah sorry, its DesktopX. I've got an image to use as a background thats bigger than my text (which varies in size). I want the text output from the meter to be centered on the image but I can't figure out how to do it. Rod

What weather object are you using in particular? One other thing to consider is that weather objects do not work well behind a proxy. Let me know if that is your case and I might be able to help.
I'm trying to have a performance meter display text on a background image. I've only been able to right or left justify it. I can't seem to figure out how to set the mimimum size of a text object to be the same size as the background. If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it. Rod

Stardock needs to consider the space they're playing in, and who the competition is. There are quite a few free apps that do the same job (or better) than ODNT components.
