Thanks for that info. But sadly ist does indeed not solve my problem. I do not want to buy the addons (not yet at least), but update SoaSE on Version 1.18. Thats not possible via you link! At least not as far as I understand the sentence below: "Only full installations are available through this website ; to download incremental updates please use the Impulse client." ...well so I will not play the Game, as long as I did not visit one of my friends with my PC... &

Updating SoaSE with slow Internetconnection in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

Hi altogether, I live in a german Village and my Internetconnetion is on Stone-Age-Level. So I downloaded Impulse for updating SoaSE. Sadly I have to download almost 500 MB, which would take Weeks to do, not mentioned the Costs... Usually ich have large data downloaded by friends with a faster Connection. This is of course impossibel in that case, because they dont have the game/impulse installed. Any suggestions, how to solve my problem?<
