I gotta say I'm with Norway on this one. Apple's iTunes, whether you like it or not, has one of the best collections of legally downloadable music available but its only of use to you if you use an ipod. I personally dont like ipods, they're not to my taste, but I would love to be able to dl music from iTunes and put it onto whichever media player I wished without the rigmarole of burning to a cd and then re-ripping it. I'm not in the frame of mind that all the music should be DRM free,

There should be an option within BIOS to disable automatic detection of keyboard/mouse. Since this is where you seem to be stuck this might help you. Multiplicity doesn't begin to work until the computers boot into windows/welcome screen. Max (edit Sp.)

Speed setting works well on my main x2 4400 rig, I'm impressed! Still runs really well on Win2000, and I figured out that I have a problem with my .NET framework install on WinME which might explain why it 'stuttered'.

Yep, when I said that it "shuddered" under WinME it does look like its struggling to re-draw every few seconds. That could be because of another process stealing rescourses and I'm not savvy enough to hunt it down. Lookin forward to the 1.2 release.

OK... Just tried other OSs- Win2000 works ok, Windows ME does work for me but it seems to 'shudder' every minute or so. Its not the hardware coz my 2nd box dual boots 2000/ME so they're under the same setup- Athlon 1400 512 DDR GeForce 2** I've no intact copies of Win98 left so I can't try that one out for you. At a guess 3.1 just isn't gonna happen!! Max

Are you all mad?? I don't see anyone mention Samurize!! A WC section for Samurize would be far easier to browse than the tedious library on Samurize.com and the talent of skinners here could produce some incredible configs!! I also think ObjectBar skins being left behind a little, I know DX can do the same, and in some cases better, than ObjectBar but ObjectBar runs much better on lower-spec machines. I believe that WC should refrain from creating a section for Mozilla/Firefox

A library for Samurize would be great, the layout for browsing configs and widgets at samurize.com is a little tedious. I'm sure there are loads of people out there who have developed configs/skins and have never uploaded them to share. I would agree with Essencay that the ObjectDock Library would benefit from spliting because an awful lot of high quality work is lost among stacks of single pngs or the likes. Just my tupence! TaoX, I couldn't have put it better myself! But surely using BIOS as an OS (for the sake of argument) would make the computer more security vulnerable!! The last thing you want to hackers have access to is your BIOS. As for windows not being the OS of the future, considering the foothold it has on the market, a replacement would need to be something really special. Correct me if i'm wrong but these are just a few of my thoughts. Max
