Yes. In fact, bought two copies of the game (one collector's, one standard) just so that I COULD play the multiplayer with my friends. Imagine our continued disappointment that we cannot play multiplayer turn-based battles yet... I feel like a fool. I guess I haven't booted it up and tried it multiplayer again for a couple of months now though, so if that's something that they implemented, let me know so I can give it another shot, otherwise, it'll be a long time before I play

So, I am loving this game. I abhor the ill reviews that it's garnished thus far, but one glaring fact remains; multiplayer was promised. So... WTF? It's time Stardock. No game launches in perfect order. Patches are not only a necissity of pc gaming, but also one of it's largest boons. As it stands today, I am loving Elemental and likely will continue to play and salivate over it for years to come. Multiple patches have already been released since launch day, and knowing Stardock, that's likely to continue well into the future. Going back to hit up some Demigod (where are those new characters?) as well as rolling up characters for a new Pathfinder campaign. Also managed to get a friend of mine hooked on Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. Even with all of these many ways to kill time, I'm still totured that I'm not playing Elemental yet. Checking the website every 30min. to an hour to see if they changed their minds and are going to let us start downloading early.

So, despite missing the window to get in on the last beta by a few hours, I can't stop thinking about Elemental. I really can't remember the last time I was so excited for a game (ok, maybe Fallout 3, but I had played the first two years before and it had been a long time). My friends and I started playing Heroes of Might and Magic 5 multiplayer in an attempt to quell the thirst for Elemental.
