Thanks Kryo. All I need to know.

I already own a downloadable copy of FE, which is installed on my system. Is the LH upgrade through SD just that, an upgrade to the FE files already on my computer? Or is it the full version same as the one downloaded through Steam? If the latter, I'll just purchase through Steam, but if the former then I'll purchase through SD and avoid the full install. Thanks SD
I'm eager to upgrade to LH from FE but am not quite sure about making the change. Would you recommend upgrading with the current version of LH or should I stick to FE for now?
Not that I've played Eador, or even LH for that matter. I have been playing FE and it's in my opinion that tactical battles are indeed fun and satisfying, at least for me. Tactics are in and of themselves an adaptive approach to a given battle scenario. In the case of FE for example, I'm presented with a certain hero with certain abilities and equipment, an army and an opponent with varying degrees of abilities magic and equipment. I'm also presented a particular field and ran
No stranger to Stardock and their commitment to excellence in the PC strategy experience, I did however hold off from purchasing Fallen Enchantress—until now. After catching the title at half off the purchase price through Stardock's website, I grabbed a copy and skeptically downloaded. And let me just say I'm so glad I did. One familiar with Stardock's recent products might right away see the integration of a s

They happen shortly after starting a new game now. Sometimes I can't even get a new game to fully launch. The bar gets half way and then a minidump occurs. Strangely, I used to play long hours with large fleets and no problems. Then one day the game decided to freeze up with minidumps. I want to say this occured after an impulse update, but this would be a guess. Anyway, the issue just started up out of the blue. Perhaps if I update my vid driver
I agree on this one. Sins worked for several months for me until one day after an impulse update it started dumping mini's. Now, it sets on my HD collecting binary dust. And yes, I uninstalled through Impulse, even removed stray folders manually afterwords, reinstalled via impulse and played for a day or two until you guessed it, more mini dumps. Sent info into Iron Clad as stipulated, no reply. Typical of the PC gaming industry these days. I wonder how a car dealership would fa
Hi Sisco900, I've been having this issue with Sins now for a few months. The game has worked flawlessly for nearly a year and now it suddenly hangs with mini dumps. I already sent Ironclad Games a support ticket with necessary files, but you guessed it...no reply. And the game still performs mini dumps and hangs. Not sure if this due to recent updates to Impulse or something else, but as it stands now I'm out $40. Once I uninstalled Sins along with manual deletion of left over files a
Apparently, due to consistant minidumps at save game load, Sins is now suddenly unplayable for me. Ironclad isn't answering my email (there's a shocker), and reinstalling doesn't help. Sigh...oh well, back to Civ IV and EU3.
Thanks. Also, I tried running in DEV.exe mode, and it did create a debug log, but the file had no information stored and the game load did another minidump. It seems to minidump near the end of the saved game load, or new game load. Thanks again for the input. I'll keep at it. If I have to I'll just try another reinstall. It just takes time despite having DSL.
I'll try the DEV.exes. Yes, I did verify install with impulse, and Sins was purchased and downloaded through Impulse as well. Also, I have no mods installed, and never have for Sins or any other Stardock game I own. Thanks for your help myfist0. Let me give your suggestion a try. Not sure that it matters, but I uninstalled Sins Trinity through Impulse and likewise installed. Perhaps I should have used Add/Remove Programs to be sure the reinstall was clean?
Never had this happen in the past year I've owned and enjoyed Sins Trinity. Now however, I'm getting minidumps shortly after loading a saved game or starting a new one. I did as the pinned Sins Tech thread instructed and sent a Dxdiag zip along with an explanation of the problem and game serial to Ironclad Support, but you guessed it...still waiting on reply. So for now, I'm biding my time with a good game of Europa Universalis III Heir to the Throne. I miss my Sins however. Any help
Hmm...now I'm able to load a game, but now, shortly after launch the game hangs and gives a minidump. I sent an email to ironclad tech support with the attached minidump file and DxDiag. Hopefully, they can shed some light on the matter. It's just odd that all of a sudden after playing smoothly for months that I now can't even get out of the gate. The only change to my system that I can think of is I recently added a external Seagate backup drive just prior to the star
Did a reinstall, which fixed the problem. Thanks Ryat for your attention.
Thanks again.
I discovered that when starting a game at the load screen it hangs up on the /Sins of a Solar Empire/Mesh/Tradeship_Tech.mesh file. Would this be a full reinstall problem, or is it fixable without reinstall? Thanks.
No mods installed. But I believe you're right in that I should reinstall the game. Thanks Ryat.
I get to the load screen, but then nothing happens, the bar stays empty with no load or start. I can setup everything pregame, but Sins goes unresponsive at load screen. This just recently started to happen. Never had a problem before. Vista x64 OS. Anyone else experiencing this issue lately? Thanks in advance.
I suppose I should ask this question elsewhere.
Hello. Not sure if anyone here has a suggestion, but suddenly (never had it happen before) when I load a saved game in Sins, the app hangs on the load screen. Same thing if I try starting a new game. OS is Vista 64. Again, never had this happen before then suddenly I'm unable to play any new or saved games in Sins. Any ideas? Thanks.
