Alright so with my fan being iffy, with the problem coming up at random times, and sometimes not at all, i've decided to replace it out of sheer consistency. I was thinking about water cooling, is it really that much better and worth it, or should I just get a V8 again or another good air cooling system?

CPU Fan Problem in Personal Computing Sins Forums

Alright so one day I go to turn on my computer expecting everything will be fine. I heard a slight fan clicking scrapping the sides of metal and then a dreaded 4 beeps (I think) come from my computer than on the screen it says a CPU fan error. What would you suggest I do? I'm not sure if the fan is completely broken as I have a Coolermaster V8 on a first gen I7 so anything I should try or think about before just replacing it?

I would like some help with choosing some new games. Sorta bored with games i got now. I like strategy games and some good fps. I got a ps3 and 360 so it can be console too. The ATI 5000's would definatly be better, being a new generation, unless you dont want to deal with ati again, then you could get a single gtx 285 like i have. Runs great. Just my point of view, even though, maybe one of your fans has burned out. Check the fan for your graphics card. If you have a heatsink, the thermal paste could have been put on improperly and not transmitting enough heat. You case also might be the culprit. It looks very closed from what i see and if you want, you could try to open up the case, but only if you know you hands around metal really well. Dust on the inside might definatly be a problem. Yes, many great games, not new, but great games nonetheless. Never played Never tried sadly Yes, won game of the year and has 5 extensions for it, great game. Yes, but only if you got 15$ a month and have a lot of time to spare. Never tried, but heard great reviews.

I just bet it will be exactly like last release of the gtx 200 and ati 4000 cards, nvidia will be ahead performence wise, with slightly faster speeds, more ram, and maybe more cards then the gtx 295, like 6 cards, or 8! Ati still will be good, and probally will release first, but its will be cheaper. Nvidia might also switch to gddr5 ram.

I would say the Haf 932 is one of the best, mainly due to because i have it, but also because it is awesome, with 3 230mm fans, and 1 140mm i believe, it is quiet and cool. I dont push my rig too much. but just idle its at 34c. If you want you can put up to like 12 120mm fans in. You can even have bottom case fans since you can mount the power supply on the top OR bottom and the wheels have like an inch of space underneath. If you get the right motherboard you can load up its 7 expansion slot

Try some Total war games, like Rome: Total War, or Empire. If you dont like them there is a classic, Starcraft, but its old and might not be attractive, it would also help if you told us if you have any consoles.
