I am at least decent at Demigod :P While i haven't played for ages (ei, i live in europe, only bought it last week), i am no stranger to QA or bughunting. I am the editor and head of administration of a quite large social community, and have had my fingers into the back door of several games. That came out wrong. Anyways, i am available to hunt for bugs and test updates. All i want is your first born and a villa with a pool. If thats not possible, then i can settle for fresh air. Ques

Demigod is as much an RTS as Diablo is. The only RTS mechanics is if you play a general demigod (4 of the 8), you will have minions to spawn, and that you can upgrade your citadel to get upgrades. You wont have to construct a vehicle factory or a vespene gas extractor, and you wont be building 12 mortar teams to get your enemy base down In all honesty, Demigod is an MORPGRTSPvP game. The roleplaying aspect is that you can build your demigod in different ways - not that you have someon

Im sorry, but i am getting conflicting information here. Is it the *visual* thats wrong? Does each tower actually shoot independantly, but it just looks like they are chained, and do they then, in essence, stack? Or is it simply one tower shooting?

I apologize then. Thats rather lame. I find it disheartening that the only reason to upgrade towers then is for the cheaper mana cost and (maybe) a bit stronger tower - and to scare people off :P It would be better to spread the towers out, then, so they dont chain.

Ive been getting quite a fondness of Rook the last few days, and im trying to optimize my own playstyle with him. I usually follow the Demolition Rook guide. One thing i noticed early on is that while you may have 10 towers down, only one of them fires (including your own beam). This must mean that each tower is enhanced by others (which is evident by the chaining of towers). But i want to know just how much damage each tower does, and how much an additional tower increases damage. Ca

What about tactics? Does the harder AI implore running away more than the easy AI? What type of AI do you get if someone timeouts from a game - normal?

Oh dont get me wrong, this is not a "zomg i didn't win a match, something must be wrong" thread :P I am quite aware of my own inability to play the game well, so if anything, its more of a "I suck, i want to play against people that suck just as much" :P

Does anyone have any idea of how "good" the AI becomes at different levels? I mean, it seems that my easy AI will wander to buy priests quite early in the game, and im like "Nooo, dont give them more xp!! :(". Thankfully, if i play an AI game, the other side will usually have an AI aswell (say, playing against a friend) and it will do the same :P What i wonder is if it will wait as it gets higher level? :P

I havent been playing this game for more than a few days, but already i have learned one key lesson: Dont die! Its better to simply harass the other player a bit and then run away, than to get locked out of combat for over 30 seconds (running back takes time aswell). Especially if you are a class dependant on other things being up - Rook is a whimp if he has to run back and pull up towers compared to if he had a bunch that is still there when he runs away. Oak has to find some c

I see your point, but with Demigod coming out in the EU tomorrow (where i am atm, so thats probably why i dont see many games up in the evening CET), more people will come. And ofcourse, the rating is something that you can chose to disable, so its just a FFA. It would allow the NEW players a chance to get into the game easely, and once people get better they can simply stop setting a requirement. Sooner or later, there will be a nice division between rankings. Imagine 3 months from now, when

I think this is a rather powerfull item. It might enable a caster DG to stand outside the smoke machine and shoot at the DG inside, and that DG wouldn't really know where the attacks are coming from (in some situations). I think its fine if it affects everybody. The caster (of the SM) will still know where people are, whereas people that trigger it (imagine if it could be triggered! ;)) would be caught off guard.

I find it funny to watch some of the cartoons i watched as a kid, has a lot of sexual refrences in them, that only an adult would catch up on. Im sure that the kid version of me saw Johnny Bravo's interest in ladies a lot differently from the way i see his horny boobdrooling today :P I wish i could remember which cartoon it was, but i saw some full length movie cartoon once, which had a massive refrence to blowjobs that only adults would pick up on. Its sorta like this picture: <

Hello - i am a two day old Demigod, enjoying myself quite a bit with this game. I never played Dota, and was generally quite bad at RTS games which require much micro management. What im trying to get across here is, im a newbie. Obviously, i enjoy playing against others, but i find it quite difficult to get into a "fair" game. It seems that games stating they are for newbies is a magnet to power hungry people, just waiting for someone to demolish, or at the very least, its quite impo
