So, I had a problem with GC2 and DA a while back. I don't remember what it was, but I reinstalled the game because of it. (Fixed now I'm pretty sure, anyways, not the problem.) when I reinstalled the game in Stardock Central, it only gave me GalCiv2: Dread Lords. It didn't bother to install my Dark Avatar expansion, even though my computer recognizes I have it. (Folders for DarkAvatar in GalCiv2 directory. MyGames DarkAvatar folder. etc.) I don't have either disc anymore, or I don't remember

Hmm? Should it all be connected, then? Could you expand on this a little more? I understand what you mean by that comment simply, but not exactly. Where specificly do the spaces need to be deleted, should I put the planetary improvement lines above and below both so it sandwiches them? Should I connect everything except the very first two lines of code? Also, do you mean it's not the images themselves that are the problem?
Sadly I'm still having this problem. Here's a code I used from a mod on GalCiv2 to see if it was just my coding(It turns out the mod's image didn't work either.): Hold on, let me write it out. Here: - S_Name,S_Description,S_BriefDescription,S_IconName,S_QueryGraphicName
He means add a transparency layer to cover the white background color. In GIMP, which is a free graphics software, you can just select the white layer and delete it, making it transparent. Good luck!
Hey all, I could use some help with my modding. I have just attempted my first addition of a Planetary Improvement. (My own, a new one, not replacement.) Well, I'm pretty sure I did everything right, since everything went right except one thing: It doesn't have an image on the planet screen itself. (The surface screen, with the tiles.) Everything is perfect other then this though. It's just invisible on the surface. (Note: The Image for the description is there, and the build it i
I'm a coding newbie, but it sounds the Dread Lords ships are bugged. I.E. Ship does not have valid ship class in CalcTotalMoves. Setting moves to 0. If your using a mod, that may be the problem.
Hello? I still haven't gotten a respone, someone still out there?
If you mean hit the default in-game at the options menu in the mod chooser, I've tried defaulting, restarting, using another mod, restarting, and it doesn't work still. And where would the prefs.ini file be located? And by set I assume you mean move/and/or somehow trigger it to allow using mods in its own Mod folder? On the launch error: It says the lib3d.dll file isn't found. Thanks for replying so soon, though.
Hey, I've been trying to get mods to work on Dark Avatar forever, but they are not working. Let me explain the situation more. I had lost GalCiv2 when my computer crashed a few months back and reinstalled it on Impulse/Stardock Central, and Dark Avatar is in a subfolder in the GalCiv2 directory. Dark Avatar's Directory did not have a mod subfolder, so I copied the one from G
