Looks great. Many, many good additions and improvements. Only one that I don't like is further reducing the number of individuals in a "company" to 6 from 7. This continues the trend to reduce the size of all regular units. IMHO this reduces the fun level of the game. I liked the old much larger unit sizes. <span style="font-size

Thanks. I can see that I left out a number of features that have already been announced. Overall it looks like LH has the potential to be a lot of fun. Now if I could just get someone from Stardock to answer questions B.................

Based on Frogboy's latest post as well as the original posts (including the FAQ), here is what we know about LH: 1. The beta may start this week. 2. The hero recuitment system will change from them being placed on the map to the heroes approaching you based on fame. A few will be the result of quests. 3

I don't think we'll see the beta this week as the Steam keys have not yet been sent. Since the LH beta will be Steam only nothing will happen until the keys go out. This is one case where I hope I am wrong! An update (1.4?) for FE might happen though.

Update: I installed new video drivers and FE now runs again. So something done between 1.3 and 1.32 required that update. Please disreguard the request for assistance. I have had almost now crashes with FE since 1.0. It's been stable as a rock. I updated from 1.31 to 1.32. Now whenever I try to start FE the screen goes dark for a few seconds a

I am very much looking forward to FE:LH - it sounds like it has great additions to an already great game system. However. I am sorry that it will be Steam only. I recently started using Steam when the LH announcement came out with the mention of it being Steam only. My brief experience is that Steam slows up shuting down my computer and on some ocasions slows down start up. I am sure of both as my system tells me what programs are

The AI in 1.2 is better at an overall strategic attack plan. In my most recent game the AI kept attacking at cities on one side of my empire. As I shifted troops to counter those attacks it launched a major attack on the other side of my empire from which I had just moved my troops! It was a real surprise and worked great - they rolled up that part of my empire. The AI is also better at moving heavily damaged troops out of the front line

Actually AOWSM with unofficial patch 1.4 and the BNW mod was a lot of fun single player. I still play it from time to time. Obviously our experiences were not the same. I am really looking forward to AOW3.

Great idea. In order to craft the following would be needed: 1. Knowledge would have to be researched for each type of craft (weapons, armor, etc). 2. I suggest these be items much more unique than the ones that can now be found in game. However, the higher level (more powerful) the item then the greater the cost and time required. Each item could have from one to say five (?) enchantments on it. The more the more e

I very strongly that the right direction is to continue developing the EFE game system. At this point it is already and lot of fun. It's not MOM or AOWSM - its different and very, very good. I think adding to the richness of he EFE system by DLC, expansions, and perhaps even sequals is the right route. I am sure others will have many great ideas but here a few that imho would be good: <span style="text-decoratio

Frogboy, Per your post of 12:03 PM today on features vs "playability": we may be dealing with a semantics issue. When I hear playability I think of things that make the geme less playable. That can be bugs or features that are not at the point of adding to the enjoyment of the game. I can see from your 12:03 post that you describe playability improvements as fixing bugs or glitches.&nbsp

Playability glitches: 1. Unit pathfinding errors. They sometimes go in a direction different from the one requested and/or take a very long route around to avoid crossing a river. 2. Automatic road building: routes chosen are often very poor. Should go as straight from point a to point b as possible. 3. Too much repetition in loot found. Often get 3 or 4 of the same item in a row. 4. AI faction

I had been out of town after playing version 1.02. When I got back the newe file was 1.12 so the ony way I saw to upgrade was to uninstall and downfload the full program. The file seemed to download normally. When I ran the file to install it everything seemed to be goind fine intil the install was done - at that point I received a "file corrupt" message from windows. I tried installing it a couple of more times w
