same thing i did, just installed winzip, no more zips as folders
HeyYou
man, these are some SLICK looking icons
maybe ie6 is blocking the cookie for wincusto. try this- go to tools, internet options, then privacy. near the bottom, there is a section called websites, click edit. then put in www.wincustomize.com, and anyother domains that wincusto uses (i don't know if there are any subdomains), and click add for each. try that
by the way, i had the same problem, and also renamed to .zip, extracted them and so on.
while we are answering questions about logonxp, does it turn off file protection?
well, hate to state the obvious, but it is for windows xp. are you running xp?
griffinme, start - run - msconfig - startup remove the check from the items you don't want to start
chaz, the guy that ran LOS, had cable modem problems, and other complications. last i heard, the site was for sale on ebay, but i haven't heard anything else since then.
well congratulations!!!
skinning of the scrollbars is only in the registered version.
well, fine then. but did you know that you can enter like whatever.edu, and use the same thing, and it won't tack on .com?
no prob dave i too don't really learn from the show. once in a while i might pick up a tip, or a shortcut that i didn't know. like did you know if you just type in, for instance wincustomize into your address bar, then hold ctrl and hit enter, it will fill in h t t p : / / and . c o m in for you? ahhhh, you didn't did you? well i picked that up from the screensavers <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

well, i watch them, answering your original question. second question, can't help ya, sorry
i thought it looked very cool.
rugglez, not to bright, this site is owned by stardock, the same people that make that program.
fine here too
not the point, i want to uninstall object bar now
the problems occured AFTER the reboot. and it wasn't that it wasn't grabbing the icons, it didn't like playing with traysaver, a similar program that i already had installed. i'm still looking for an uninstaller, cause i can't believe this would be a plain delete.
yeah it is gone, an admin probably deleted it
no uninstaller? reaked havoc on my computer, the systemtray thing didn't like playing with traysaver. crash on startup, no shell all back to normal, but still no uninstaller?
doreen - hehehe, guess i could have done that
well, i didn't read everything, but to me, i'm only interested in somebody's gender online cause when i talk to somebody, or see them post online, i like to sorta make a picture of them in my mind. maybe i am weird, but that is the only reason i find it interesting to see people's gender.
its really just a big calculator. and my computer science teacher from highschool called them "superfast idiots" or something to that effect. they can calculate things very fast, but they do only what you tell them to do, there is no guessing or questioning of what you tell it to do.
as i have posted everywhere woohoo!!!!
