no, it seems you're understanding me wrong. I just said GPGnet is better, never mentioned using it for demigod. Frogboys question then forced us to say yes, but well, he should have asked, who thinks GPGnet is at its current state better than impulse :P

spooky, i never said we should use gpgnet. And I also admit that GPGnet is instable. and buggy. Still, it is better to set up games. And GPGnet has so many functionalities, that Demigod would only profit of. And well, this thread isnt about GPGnet vs Impulse either, cos there are pros and cons for both of them. This thread is about a CEO banning players who just say their opinion, which is even total valid. and well I see this forum is full of fanboys (ex

Frogboy asked "why they should use gpgnet" and this kid goes and said "cos you want something that fail even more". Boot.[/quote] a

I'm sure you didn't paste the whole chat, just the part where he calls you an idiot. not really. this was the most important things I said. b4 i only explained the reasons why I think GPGnet is better. (which it is without question at the moment, still I am sure, Stardock is capable of fixing it) and of course, I am not an expert. Still I have the experience of playing Supreme Commander in GPGnet the las

http://myvowclan.de/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3185&d=1240594431 well you can read, what we wrote. Basically, Zock and me have the opinion, that GPGnet is working better than Impulse/Demigod-System. This was all we had said in this chat. Then Frogboy, who I would have thought to be a qualified employee of Stardock, just insu

hopefully something good is coming. Clans will be really important in demigod, as the best team is always winning. Team-based games are always best for clans. for now a sub forum here for clan recruitings would be cool

GPGnet (client for SupCom and Forged Alliance) is the best multiplayer-client I ever knew, if you look at functionalities: Live-replay (watch replays of games that are played right now, which is great for tournaments), tournament support, ranked ladder, map vault, mod vault, replay vault, player profiles, friendlist, great clan-support. In the early beta GPGnet really had some kind of problems, but with supcom being released, everything worked fine (still, most players need to setup t

well Forged Alliance runs smoothly on my computer. Even with more than thousand units I know FA to run with simspeed 5-8. Demigod even starts right from the beginning with sim speed 3 or 4 with maximum 50-100 units at the battle at the same time. not that this is bad, but maybe people with worse computers will slow down games, and why is demigod slower than FA where much more things have to be "simulated"?

well i dont care about a campaign. I also dont care about a tutorial. Demigod is so self-explanatory. Its easy to learn, but hard to master. I cannot imagine why anyone, who can use his mind a little more than a cow, would need a tutorial. multiplayer is the only critic point i totally agree w ith. Come on, they knew its a multiplayer only game, so why the hell can they be surprised with too many users?

if you play in a team, you always can turn the game, I think. If you manage to team up and get only 2-3 demigod kills, while the other team doesnt, you can really come back. Of course, if your opponent team is too good, you maybe cant kill one of them. But well.. if a team is good, why should you win xD I see another problem, that often games are decided, and well... still they take half an hour to finally end. often catapultasauri are the final thing you need to get th

what is most important: in the beginning dont fight somewhere, where nothing happens. on big maps there are spots, where you cannot level (for example the mid in mandala, some players try to defend that healing crystal). You always need creeps at the beginning to level. so be there, where creeps are dying..^^

they dont are allowed. They just try to connect, and this is making the servers go crazy. But they cannot play online and cannot log in. I personally think, that this will be good for demigod, as most people, who normally wont have bought it, now can test, and if only 50% of them decides to pay for it to play online and have stats and co, Demigod will sell very good.
