Performance Related Issues in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

Here is a list of threads relating to the same performance issue yet there is no solution or moderator post/sticky on this issue. You can't tell me we all need to upgrade our hardware because they meet the requirements. I have the same problem, the game is not playable. My specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo E660 2.4 ghz GeForce 8800 GTS 4 GB ram Windows Vista 64-bit It does not matter if I turn the sound off, or lower the res, or lower the graphic quality... I'm getting really frustrated with this mainly because there are so many threads on this issue but everyone just keeps brushing it off with bs like upgrade your drivers

- Toggle unit HP (equivalent to holding and releasing alt in WC3) - In the menu, do network communications asynchronously so it does not lock the entire UI.

Unplayable framerate in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

I start up a single player skirmish, the framerate is fine at first but within 5 min is unplayable. I did notice that one of my processor cores was constantly 90%-100% used, and the 2nd one goes from 50%-90% used. Setting the video fidelity to low does not seem to help. I did get an increase in performance by turning off the sound using the "/nosound" flag but this is not a viable solution for me, nor did it make the framerate acceptable. Here are my system specs from dxdiag. </
