I made a map using galaxy forge and put it in the galaxy folder, but when i go to find the map in the game it does not appear anywhere. is there a different place to put it in or look for it in the game?

I have been trying to download galaxy forge for a while but everytime when i download it it is a weird code type thing on my microsoft word and nothing else. what coud be some of the problems that i am having and how can i get it downloaded right?
