Yholl, that is something I noticed as well. My guess (apologies if way off base Devs) is either A: this was done for balance reasons period (something not unheard of in games/mods) or B: With the lore of this mod in mind the Federation has upped it's military budget so to speak to unheard of levels resulting in technology upgrades like this being possible. Perhaps this info from MA is relative. http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Tractor_

I love your Thrawn's Revenge mod (when I found it I was like Wow, finally a EaW:FoC mod that has the features and unit list I've always wanted) and this mod looks to be my favorite SW mod for Rebellion, thanks for all the work and can't wait to try this baby!

It's hard to understand what "wasted potential" is without having been a hardcore fan of the original Unreal Tournament (1999). It was an amazing game for online multiplayer whose sequels paled in comparison because of consolization, especially the abomination that was UT3.
</
For destroying high priority targets fast Ragnorov is definitely the most satisfying as you do 7.5/5k snipes left and right and watch them drop. For fleet wide engagements Kultorask is disgustingly overpowered right now IMO. The AOE DPS and Leech abilities are second to none, and really like mobile Orky's are showing how badly we need balancing.

I think you mean "If you're a good advent player (and acting like it), then you can't use this ability." Yeah, you typically expect to see these type of comments in gamefaqs/steam/wow/sc2/yahoo news etc. etc. So when I see it here it means we no longer have a monopoly on mature adults. To be expected I guess, since when the balancing for this game is as bad as it is right now tempers surely rise.

Vasari and/or ART buffs would be awesomesauce.
They did say there was supposed to be a patch this week, as always I'm sure this is all subject to change.
Aside from getting a utility that supports your CPU to overclock with, there's nothing you can do. Sin's is a single core/threaded game and because of this is extremely CPU limited. (as long as you meet the basics for Ram/GPU of course) Anyways get your CPU's model and look online for tweaking utilities that support it / the laptops mobo, you might have luck or may not, that's even if you can get one, then the trouble is OCing something that is so small

No, there is no channeling any more. The tooltip is simply not updated currently.
On the plus side they finally fixed/changed it so it works on auto cast both inside combat, and out. I do agree though that perhaps it could use a buff so it doesn't need to face its target.
Gotta disagree with you on the Advent Rebel Titan, it has around the passive DPS of the TEC Loyalist Titan which just feels wrong for a DPS orientated ship supposedly. Boosting Strength of the Fallen's range (if not the entire grav well honestly) to the same as Purification's would be a good start. While it's true Chastic Burst is a decent AOE it doesn't make up for the fact that Unyielding Will needs serious help or other wise is a completely wasted lev
I love/d Conquest: Frontier Wars with it's supply system, really added a tactical depth to it. A system like that I'm sure could be added into Sins threw mods perhaps, as I doubt the Devs would undertake such a huge gameplay change right now, maybe in Sins 2 though.
This update was mainly to get crash fixes in everyone's hands. Only the "safe" balance changes made it into this update. We've already got another one nearing completion for next week (hopefully) that will contain more changes.
This is a good start, now I just pray for some Eradica buffs so it can actually be a DPS Titan and not weaker than support ones.
Have to agree with you 100%, the Advent Rebel's really don't have a fleshed out storyline in the sense of it making sense or feeling realistic and plausible, at least to me.
In the now repealed .75 patch it had been buffed, cost like 30 (or maybe 40) AM @ rank 2 and the damge bonus was buffed so that snipe does 7.5k @ lvl 4 + lvl 2 Overcharge.
Domina in the now repealed .75 beta didn't seem at all fixed AI wise, never used Perseverance once automatically (while all conditions that would/should trigger it were in effect) it does still require the ship to face the target but it is not channeled now at least. (though the text is still saying it is, it's not)
I completely agree with you on the Eradica. I've played a few games now legitimately using it and I have to say I'm finding it unremarkable, at least compared to the Tec Titans. Purification is an ability I'll probably never use, because as you said it doesn't synergise with anything nor do I find it particularly interesting, if it could be used against enemy ships that would be a 100% different story however.
You missed a point. The deliverance gives all freindly ships in the well a 25% damage boost. Thats an enormous offensive or defensive buff. And it's independent of the culture buff. The real advantage is what it forces your opponnent to do in terms of spending slots on culture centers. Your allready going to want to be doing this, but by adding that to your opponnents list you bassiclly remove the Econ penalty for doing it yourself. <br
