I have the same situation of RKurbis: Active desktop off, only solid background color, XP SP3, windows classic layout and so on... Unfortunately I tested only Fences v0.96 Community-Preview Beta without Impulse... thus the JMB1984 update doesn't work for me... (I think...)
Well, I read all the posts. No way to have the fences re-appear: not by resing, nor re-setting parameters, not by double click (well, all the icons disappeared and reappeared as espected, but no fences or labels). I had no problem uninstalling by fences uninstaller (only the link to the fences configuration tool stay on the desktop). I think the tool is nice and userful, so tell me if I can give some kind of help (it is a beta version, anyway)
Hi all! Yesterday I've downloaded and installed Fences v0.96 Community-Preview Beta. It works fine then I turned off my PC. today a restart the PC and no fence is visible! Moving the mouse around I noticed that the cursor icon change accordingly to the presence of an invisible fence :-) Moreover, I'm able to move all the invisible fence... No way changing colors and other settings. My OS is Windows XP SP3</
