Want to play but quite scared... in Demigod Demigod Forums

Being an avid fan of DotA I am extremely excited about this game. As of such, I really really want to pre-order and help in the beta testing and become a supporter of the development of what will most likely be a very awesome game. The thing is I'm scared to pre-order it and then have it not run on my computer or run awfully slow.
