I also had the same problem: 2 accounts, with one registered and updated, - accountdata forgotten and new registered -> no updates possible with the new account :-/

Problems getting the GCII - Dreadlords update in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Hello, I bought the game Galactic Civilisations II - Dreadlords some months ago. I also used the Stardock software to update the game - and it worked fine. After a few months of not playing the game, I uninstalled it , Now, I reinstalled it and again tried to get the updates, with the Impulse software - unfortunately, I didn't knew my last account name, so I created a new account. After I tried to update the game, the programm says "invalid serial or e-mail adress" - T
