Nice! Couple of things: 1) Not crazy about the WASD setup. Scrolling is the typical behavior here. I know it's there if you HOLD the button down but it still feels awkward and an unnecessary step. 2) Quest text doesn't always match the outcome of a battle. For example, one quest had me fight a Yeti for a group of townies. I ended up charming it instead. Quest text congratulated me on killing the yeti. "Uh, sure, it was my pleasure...?" Fortunately, I stumbled onto the 'Folders' options before I'd installed any games. It does seem rather silly not to simply default to the chosen drive during installation.

I think "persistent world" is more like Civ 4's Pitboss; a dedicated server that processes logins and turns. Just a guess.
