As a Brit I do recall thinking at the time that Reagan was some sort of Mickey Mouse president, but when you look back at what he and Thatcher helped accomplish during that time in terms of really making the world a safer place he was incredibly impressive. I think it is key to remember that it is not just those receiving medals and prizes that are winners here. Personally I think everyone who puts such much time and effort into the contest is a winner. I'm totally in awe of the quality of the work I see in the GUI Olympics. I can't draw a stick man personally and therefore drool when I see some of the amazing work produced. DesktopX is an amazing tool. For $20 you get software that can do pretty much anything on your desktop. DesktopX is NOT just eye candy, it can be an awesome productivity tool. The problem is that it's just not as popular as it should be. The main issue is the lack of really useful objects.

OK, time to catch up on things. There has been a fair bit of user support work going on. There seem to be a load of new users about which has increase requests for help, but it's all good. Alberto has made a shedload of changes and improvements to DX so a fair bit of docs work has been done. We tweaked a few things such as the syntax for File dialogs to resemble the VB style. Also, I've added a few interviews and converted the originals
