Obama claims to want to make the United States a leader in science and technology, but is willing to let the Space Shuttle program die without a replacement, thereby forcing us to rely on the Russians to get to the ISS. I really like the new Doctor Who for the most part, but I'm still not sure about Matt Smith. He seems more inconsistant to me, with some good episodes and some that are kind of lame. I suppose that's at least partly because of the writing, but still. David Tennant was my favorite, although it did take a while for him to grow on me too. The last season (or half-season or whatever it was) seemed even more up-and-down than the previous one. I'm glad they've made Rory a regular, e

Its a 6-part series that uses a substantial amount of footage from NASA and has plenty of interviews with the folks that went up. Anyway, its on amazon and you can get the whole thing for $10 digitally or like $2 an episode. Suggest giving it a look if you have not seen it (they have a free preview). Series is called "When we left earth."

Oops, I guess I didn't make that clear. I get the same problem as the OP, where the hardpoints will convert, but I get a radius of -1 and 0 vertices. Hardpointing in Softimage is definately easier than Max, but I can't find a way to save the hardpoints in SI and get them to carry over to Max. Since Max is the only way I can make meshes, I end up having to do the hardpoints with it. I don't do tangents... 1. I don't know how[e digicons]:P[/e] 2. My texturing is terribl
I get the same problem. I honestly have no idea what causes it (I'm using the 64-bit Softimage 2011). The really weird part is that at first it didn't work, then something changed (but I don't know what) and it started working, and then a while later it stopped working again. After spending ages messing around with it, I finally just gave up. Now I do my modelling in Softimage/XSI, then hardpoint in 3ds Max, and then use the script for Max to convert straight to .mesh.
