Thanks, that did it! Seems like this is a bug that should be addressed, but as this is a beta, it may be understandable. I don't understand why it wouldn't just start at some baseline resolution and then you could get into the video settings and go from there. Kostas

Hi, I just did the pre-buy for the Diplomacy expansion to SoSE and SoSE:Entrenchment. As part of this transaction, I was given a download of the Diplomacy beta. I downloaded it, and after it downloaded and installed, I was given the option of running the program. I did, and it blanked out the screen, as SoSE and Entrenchment do (I run them full screen, 1920 X 1200 on a Dell 2407WFP). Hi, I just bought the Diplomacy expansion for Sins of a Solar Empire, and when I try to run it, it bascially hange the system. The screen blanks out (I play fullscreen, so this is normal) but nothing ever comes up. Both the original Sins of a Solar Empire, and the Entrenchment expansion run fine, the screen still blanks out, but then the start up screens appear. My system is an Intel DG33FB Motherboard, Q6600 CPU (stock), 8GB RAM, Nvidia 8600GT video card. Display is a Dell 2407WFP LC

Hi, Just to add my information to the group experience: System is an Intel Q6600 running at stock 2.4 GHz, with 6GB of RAM on Vista 64. Video card is an nVidia 8600GT (factory overclocked by EVGA) 256MB. Motherboard is an Intel DG33FB with a Bios revision one below latest revision. Nvidia driver is 181.22. Prior to the Feb. 20 patch release, I was getting Mini-Dump/Crashes with Entrenchment, pretty much at random. It could take 10 minutes, or it could take 6 hours
