[e digicons][/e] ... By the looks of it, just an IE hater who thinks it's ok to flash an alert window. Not a good first impression. A simple message at the bottom of the page would be far better ... although I don't think the person who 'coded' this page really cares.

cost me around $850 to upgrade when a new version comes out ... as I will be migrating to OSX, I did look at the cloud version. They charge $62/month down here in OZ [e digicons] Still I will be trying it out at the start of the new year. I will keep an eye out to see how you go with it.
I wonder if the communities somewhat lukewarm acceptance of Windows 8 has something to do with this pricing.
Yep, for $40 people will buy it. MS can then crow on its 'success'. Might even buy it myself, could always upgrade my vista disc coffee cup coaster...

Strange how a whole country can get behind a horse. Black Caviar has beaten the competition easily in all her races, the jockey wasn't expecting such a tight race. Boy can she accelerate when she wants to ... [e digicons]:D[/e]

I haven't seen Prometheus yet, going this Saturday. It was a movie I was always going to see ... and because of that, I didn't look at the Theory of the Prometheus Movie post. Wouldn't have a clue what happens, might check the post out after the weekend [e digicons];)[/e]

The thing is, IE7 users will be charge different amounts of surcharge for cost recovery. A IE7 customer can argue that their surcharge of buying a product from Kogan should be the same as another IE7 customer. Kogan will have to justify why that customer has to pay more ...
It's not illegal at all. The customer can choose not to purchase from the website thus negating the surcharge.
Kogan have said the surcharge is to recover cost of allowing ie7 users to buy goods. If a customer has to pay more for that access than another then it's price gouging. They have to give you a fair cost.
