There is a program looking out for planet killing objects around the world (I think its called Project Spaceguard). But the problem is in the area around Australia you have a lot of ocean and its a bit of a dead spot for observation. When the Australian government was approached to set up some time to track and look out for these objects. They refused. The government could not justify spending $600,000 a year. [e digicons]:S[/e]

I have been a Maxis fan for a long time and did't hesitate when Spore came out. After playing it for two days thinking it will get better and there was more depth and there was something I was just not seeing yet! Quite right Primal! Why would I want to spend money on software which might of taken months/years to develop only to change some colors around. On a group of programmers who are prepared to give long turn support for their products. With the focus on new demigods and maps (as it should be) I feel minions and creeps have been left out in the cold. Demigod has a great system in where you can buy idols from the shop. There you can determine what type and the power of your minions. Such a flexible system is just asking for an upgrade.
