Alright...now that we have the final version of Entrenchment I've got install problems. I uninstalled both SOASE and Entrenchment from Impulse and tried re-installing them. Entrenchment says that it still deteccts my Beta files and that I need to remove them and retry. I've un-installed using Impulse and the VISTA Control Panel 5 more times and re-installed 5 times and I get the same message over and over. Any fixes to this?
Couple things. 3. I highly doubt Stardock is the first company to have delays. *cough* Metroid Prime 3 *cough*
Yes....but there are delays, and then there is Valve time. From I've seen so far I think we can expect to see Sins of a Solar Empire: Epis.....Entrenchment March 1st. March 1st, 2012 that is.

I generally look at forums only for game help....not for beta or purchase ideas. When I buy something expect everything that is about to happen be on the front or item's page. The words "Pre-order" imply that I'm simply buying the ability to download the game at its release, not getting a beta. Suddenly having a Beta appear in "My Games" would quickly lead more then just me to believe we've been duped. After all, the page gives no mention of anything being downloaded when you buy the

Because it never stated that I was getting a Beta...so to have something install without telling me first and then not explicitly explaining how things are going to work is plenty of cause for alarm. Certainly when the only thing it says its that it is a "Pre-Order", which in no ways translates into "Beta". And I suppose I may have jumped the gun alittle about it it being a paid beta only, but it never says anywhere now that my $10 will be used towards the final ve

I just payed for the Pre-order to Entrenchment thinking that I'd bought the ability to download Entrenchment when it came out in February....however Impulse just downloaded Entrenchment and I started up Sins only to find that I have a Beta version of Entrenchment for Sins now.... Do I buy Entrenchment and just get to help test it until they release it and then download it, or did I just pay to be in a BETA and will be forced to buy the final verion again later?! <p

Grrr....It still says in the Sins box "Verifying Download....." and says all 16MB has been downloaded, and still lists a speed, even after re-installing Impulse.

I've been having trouble with my Sins Updating and Impulse. I'll go into the game, click "Download Updates", and it will brin to Impulse. Impulse starts to download, downloads the whole Update, then says "Verifying Download" and stops, and never goes anywhere else...... I don't know whats going on here....I haen't had this kind of problem before, and its really annoying not be able to download the updates.

In the books, there is a description of a Covenant Shipyard, and I believe there is a short one in both Contact Harvest and Ghosts of Onyx of a UNSC. And if those don't help, just by looking atthe general design of other installations we've seen of both sides, you could surmise what they would look like.

Just out of curiosity, why does modding seem to be such a big deal to you? You talk as if consoles have commited some cardinal sin by not letting people mod their games, yet nothing ever seems to come from the console community (any of the three) complaining about not being able to mod. In fact, the only noise you ever hear from them is when someone DOES manage to mod a game, and then fire and brimstone erupts as the general community demands blood be spilled and heads to roll in order to make s
