A non-internet player asks... in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi all, Apologies if this topic has been covered a thousand times, but here goes... I really like the look of GCII and the expansion packs (especially TA... good stuff guys!) but I'm cautious of buying it- I don't have an internet connection at home and I don't really plan on getting one. So- can I play this game without it? I've heard that's I'd have to activate my account online? Thanks for your help! GazGroarke
