Im finding right now that while its nice its two or three jumps away, I think phase lane length needs to be another factor in the missions. For example, I made a map that had huge phase lanes but regardless of how many jumps, I cant even get to the destination within 15 minutes. Anyway just a suggestion. The thing about the AI ganging up on you is also untrue. The game im playing right now i only have one ally in my system and we are ganging up on another AI. The reason is simply because th
thanks all. Really appreciate the help. Now i need to research that tech that makes it a lot faster. The phase lane distance is completely rediculous. Took one fleet like 30 minutes to get to another planet.
Ok I spent at least 15 minutes trying to use the phase gates I made as the vasari and im starting to get pissed because ive tried sending my ships through by right clickin and they wont go. Tried clicking on some boxed icon that explains its function but not how to flippin use the damn thing. Somebody please tell me how to use them. They are essential if im going to win this.
I just started playing a huge map as the vasari and its looking like theres only one way to win this. Basically what im doing is gaining momentum. It seems that once you lose that momentum you may lose the war. Im also attempting to make sure that i can keep an alliance with one race while annihilating the other. I would have to say also that you need to be willing to give up a few planets in the process and perhaps just leaving enough ships behind to slow an advance. Look also at maybe try
