so did some searching, but haven't come up with a solution yet. I'm trying to use Map Designer to generate a 3 star galaxy, but every time I preview it or star a new game, all of the stars are in a row, with the two ends not connected. Is there any way to make it so Map Designer creates the stars in a triangle, instead of line, with all stars connected to each other? Or do I need galaxy forge for that?

it appears InfiniteVoid was correct. They were coming from star to another from an Ally "Helping", and by the time they got there, I already owned the planet. and moved onto the next one. Wish there was a way to self-destruct superweapons in that situation.
so as the title says, I have a case fire pact with another race (AI), and while they're ships don't engage mine, and appear on the allies side of the planetary ship cout bars, they are still sending interplanetary missiles towards my planets. Is this normal? If the AI ahs a cease fire pact, shouldn't they not be sending missiles as well?
I have ObjectDock Plus, which according to Impulse, is at it's latest version. I have it set to only contain SystemTray Icons, as I don't use a taskbar at all and would just like to keep my system tray icons at the top. The "Positioning" tab is set to Edge of screen: Top, as well as Interaction: Keep on top. It will stay on top of other windows for a period of time, but then dissappear, and i'll have to minimize all of my open windows, click once on it, and then it wil
I'm looking to create a truly random map, but so far I haven't been able to create what I want. I've tried both the galaxy forge, and the in game map designer, and can't quite get what i'm looking for. When I use the Map Designer in game, it always puts the players home planets seperated from the main system planets, and always with two planets next to it. What i'd like is a random star, surrounded by ~50 "objects", and have it be truly random, with the starting players home pla
Thank you for your support. I would like to get more people playing locally as well, and we all like playing large universes. (10+ stars, 400~500+ planets). I shudder to think of any computer's reaction to trying to host that large a game.
well what do you mean by "master" copy? If your running a game with AI (however many players), then one computer is responsible for handling the running of those AI's. Combined with running the rest of the game, that can take a toll on the hosting machine. wouldn't that be the "master" copy? I'm guessing that if we just played with live players and no AI, the strain in the host computer would be alot less because their'd be far less computations. I guess i
no no no. I'm not talking about a dedicated server on the part of Ironclad's system. I'm talking about the ability for ME to host a game of my choosing on my computer just for the sake of playing that game locally. Doesn't have anything to do with ICO, in fact, I hardly every play online, i'd rather play locally with people I know, but it would help the memory load out if there was a way to offload the game data onto it's own system, vs the hosting player trying to host the gam
I've got myself and 3 roomates that all play this game on a LAN, and with me creating / running bigger and bigger universes, the game-lag is getting worse and worse. Is there any option, or can there be created an option in a future patch to run a Dedicated Server for Hosting a game? IE, run the game on whatever server you want, and then host a multiplayer game marked as a dedicated server, then it'll remove the actual player from that computer. Other people can then connect to
