well, I was hoping to get more troops in single player without having to download a mod for it. I don't mind not having as much troops in multiplayer. My problem is, if I had a game with say a hundred planets, I imagine my forces would be spread pretty thin. It doesn't matter as much for the small maps, but I would like a lot more ships for the larger maps.
What is the option called to raise the unit cap in .ini file? Is it even possible to do that?
Gamestop doesn't have any either around me. I'll probably end up just downloading it most likely, but a chance Fry's could have some come in tomorrow
Might end up downloading it tomorrow. But so far, EB games has sold out. And frys electronics hasn't even got a single box in. I'm down in southern california (U.S) Usually fry's gets all the new releases...oh well, I'll call up tomorrow and see if any place has it and if not just download it. Which might I ask, I would buy the one that comes with the box and digital download. Will the download link be sent to my email and same with the CD key?
Was reading on gamespot, and someone said only 200 ships? But I've seen pictures and someone had thousands. Would like to know, because 200 doesn't seem like much since I'm planning on playing on the biggest sized random map and my forces would be spread out pretty thinly.

I thought this would be a good thread, for both information for me (and others) and for the developers. Now, I don't have Sins yet, so I can't really say what features I like or dislike. If you can't think of top 10 features you like and dislike (10 each) thats fine, it can be less. I hope I can find a copy of the game today :P Planning to go out later and get a copy. Nice job on getting 10th place, thats a pretty good accomplishment :) Now I just have to wait a few hours to get it...
I don't have the game yet (hopefully today), but I don't see the harm in it for making an option for the game to be even slower for the people who would want that. I like to take my time, so it would be nice for say research to take 10 minutes or something. If you like a more fast paced game, you don't need to use the option for it slower...for those that do, can.
