I'd like to see a 2 things: 1) an option to see how many skins you see in one page. I could go for a lot at once instead of releatedly clicking the next button 2) WC needs to be less picky on the skins it chooses and accepts. For instance, I did a background spinoff on combining the Leopard space background with the Vista background. they said "You need permission from Microsoft and Apple Inc. to upload this" or something like that. yeah..... there's a big button on their websites th

Yeah, from what I've heard and experienced, cursor FX is really buggy. I used the free version to try it out, because it had all the stuff I needed, i never use the trails. Went to load a new awesome theme and....and....and.....AND NOTHING HAPPENED!!! :( I know it's free but there's definately no ways cursorFX won't let you add new themes even from the free version. Unless you have Vista, just download the old version and save yourself a headache.

Hmm.... did you install any software recently that could even possibly effect OD? OD was specifically designed to run efficiently even on those old 700MHz jobbies (trust me, last year, I knew all to well) OD+ should be the same, if not better. Try a virus scan or something. That, or your vista machine has only a gig of ram... which if it does will do the same thing. Vista is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too memory hungry but I think you need AT THE ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 2 G of ram for vista. especially

I agree. 2000 and XP are technically the same thing, just the GUI is different (and among other things but the "bones" are basically the same). I've never heard of a CD drive working on 2000 but not on XP, or vice versa. You could always get a driver if you absolutely need to. They usually don't mention these things. Heck, I have a "PC" Only mouse that is surposed to work only in XP and 2000 but it works on mac, and win ME. go figure

Ooh, thanks!!! I have to ask though. does the sleep command work OK for you guys? i can't get it to work. The expose works great. I figured I could make AutohotKey do the sleep function for me. I've tried both #us and {sleep}. I'd like for there to be a way how to have pauses in between the keys because in order to do #us, (winkey, u key, s key for standby) there has to be a slight pause in between each key

I don't think you'd wanna do that.... all your CPU would be going to rendering the background. It's not like you stare at it. You could use DeskScapes if you have Vista Ultimate and stuff, of course. idk how it's done, I've seen it done as well but, first point, CPU . Vista already does enough of that ;p

Neat utility to run a keyboard shortcut in Personal Computing WinCustomize Forums

Do any of you know of a neat little application that will emulate a keyboard shortcut when you open it? I desperately need one of those for my dock. I use Virtual Desktop Manager. it's kind of like Spaces except not as fancy and it's for windows. It's actually a Microsoft PowerToy. but anyways, I'd like for there to be an icon in my dock that when you click it, it runs a keyboard shortcut. I have the free version of OD so don't call me an idiot if there's something like that for OD+ (idk w

no, its buggy. I have XP (vista is evil in my opinion) and I go to import a new theme. I get the nice thinking cursor. and...and...and...???!??!!!! NOTHING. Luckily, I used the free version. Im not spending 20 bucks on software that won't let u import your own themes.

Hm.... idk, I think that Vista is WAYYYYY slower than XP is, I don't plan on upgrading any time soon, or at least until they have SP1 or 2 out. XP Sp3 is probably going to fix any little minor bugs. I just don't like Vista for some reason. I like macs the best. they don't freeze every couple of days.
